Natyakalpa has been onto some big things lately. We recently bid goodbye to some of our senior students as they moved to different cities and countries for their higher studies. However, their love for Natyakalpa, Rashmi ma'am and Bharatanatyam shall remain forever. Then there are students who continued to stay and take a step ahead in their Bharatanatyam journey with Natyakalpa -

Throwback to 3rd August, when one of our senior students Anoushka Agarwal had her Bharatanatyam Aarangetram under the blessings of Guru Smt. Rashmi Raut Jaiswal. A performance nothing short of perfection, Anoushka's aarangetram was graced by the presence of eminent personalities in the field of arts - Shri Ashok Chakradhar and Dr. Sandeep Marwah. The forever smiling, our respected Dr. Mridula Tandon also couldn't miss this wonderful opportunity of witnessing Anoushka, who has also been teaching Bharatanatyam to Mridula ma'am's girls at Saakshi NGO, under the guidance of Guru Smt. Rashmi Raut Jaiswal.

It has been 3 months since her Aarangetram, and we still can't get over the beautiful pictures by Inni Singh. We thank all Natyakalpa students, musicians, guests and supporters for making yet another Aarangetram a huge success. Natyakalpa wishes Anoushka, who has now begun her new journey working with Deloitte USI, all the best for her future endeavours.

Nrutya Madhuram, our First International Dance Festival 2019, came as an opportunity to numerous young artists across the world, to portray their talent in the field of Classical Dance. The students of Natyakalpa too grabbed this chance to showcase their first Lecture Demonstration, Margins, written by Nimisha Singla, conceptualised by Guru Rashmi Raut Jaiswal, and performed by Aadhya Bhatnagar, Aakanksha Rishi, Aastha Rastogi, Anoushka Aggarwal, Chitrakshi Kashyap, Nimisha Singla, and Yashodhra Sabu.

On the occasion of World Dance Day, Natyakalpa launched its 1st International Dance Festival, 'Nrutya Madhuram', where some distinguished personalities in the field of dance and budding artists from all over the world took to the stage of Triveni Kala Sangam New Delhi. We were honoured to have esteemed artists Padmabhushan Dr. Saroja Vaidyanathan and Jayaprabha Menon ji grace the occasion with their presence. It was a huge motivation for us to have Dr. Mridula Tandon by our side. We are proud to be able to provide a platform to her girls at Sakshi NGO to learn Bharatanatyam. Lastly, we were the happiest to have our favourite teachers Pavitra Bhat and Thanjavur R Kesavan be a prominent part of the festival by imparting knowledge to the young dancers in the field of Bharatanatyam, through a 2-day workshop that took place at Indrayu Academy of Performing Arts.
Natyakalpa would like to thank all students, parents, and well wishers for their unconditional love and support for this new beginning. Until next time!

Our students got the opportunity to perform at the opening ceremony of International Institute of Hotel Management's 5th International Young Chef's Olympiad.
While this is claimed to be world's biggest Olympiad for culinary students, what made it even more special for us was that students of both our branches - Sarita Vihar and Kothari International School Noida danced together!

Natyakalpa along with Kothari International School got an excellent opportunity to perform at the Noida Literature Festival 2018.
In order to express the various forms of literature in our own way of dance, we performed Kuhu, our annual production for this year, showing the various moods we feel in our daily lives. We also had a short presentation on a portion of Harivansh Rai Bachchan's Ji's poem - 'Baith jata hu mitti mein aksar' by the students of Kothari.
