Venue Finalisation for the 1st World Yogasana Championship at Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Today marks a historic milestone in the global journey of Yogasana as a competitive sport.

Senior leadership from World Yogasana, Asian Yogasana, and Yogasana Bharat convened for an important meeting in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, to deliberate upon the organisation of the upcoming 1st World Yogasana Championship. During this visit, the delegation conducted a comprehensive inspection of the proposed competition venue and associated facilities.

After detailed evaluation and mutual consultation, it has been unanimously finalised that Ahmedabad, Gujarat, shall host the 1st World Yogasana Championship. The identified venue Will be Trans Stadia indoor stadium , Mani Nagar , Kankariya, Ahmedabad which meets the international standards required for conducting a world-class sporting event and aligns with our collective vision to promote Yogasana on the global sporting platform.

This development represents a significant step forward in our mission to institutionalise Yogasana as a globally recognised competitive sport and further strengthens India’s leadership in taking Yogasana to the international sports arena.

All affiliated national federations and stakeholders are requested to take note of this important development and extend their full cooperation towards the successful organisation of the Championship.

The Energetic Meeting of the Asian continent- 21 countries participated in a meeting, in the guidance of Hon'ble Secretary General World Yogasana Dr. Jaideep Arya ji, President of Asian Yogasana Dr. Sanjay Malpani ji and Secretary General of Asian Yogasana Mr. umang Dawn ji the meeting happened regarding the Development of new asian countries, bidding of 3rd Asian Yogasana Sports Championship 🏆 and preparation of World yogasana sports championship.
