It is a pleasure to inform you all that the studio performance organized by Aadhunik (A Unit of Indian Contemporary Dance) on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchmi was a success.
The evening started with the lamp lighting ceremony and seeking bleesings from goddess Saraswati followed by a Saraswati Vandana by the students of Aadhunik.
It was followed by Indian contemporary dance performances by the artists of Aadhunik and was concluded by a lecture demonstration and a vote of thanks by our Director Dr. Krishan Kumar Sharma.
The performances and the initiative was much appreciated by the audiences.

The studio performance on the occasion of Pt Uday Shankar's birth anniversary was also accompanied by a lecture demonstration by Dr. Krishan Kumar Sharma, who enlightened the audience on the life of Pt Uday Shankar ji and also about Indian contemporary dance form.

And also a little photo exhibition at the studio consisting of photos of Shri Uday shankar ji and Aadhunik's memorable performances throughout the years.

The chief guest for the evening was Sh Suresh Chand Sharma (Retd. Official , Ministry of Home Affairs) and many other personalities.
The performances were made by the artists of Aadhunik unit.
