IGU continues to strengthen golf development in North East India. โ›ณ

As part of its grassroots development initiative, the Indian Golf Union has provided the Tripura Golf Association with a golf set and 300 practice balls to nurture emerging talent.

Following the IGU President's announcement and the January 2026 visit by IGU officials, several development projects are underway to unlock the region's immense golfing potential. Despite geographical challenges and limited infrastructure, the IGU remains committed to building a strong golfing ecosystem in the North East and developing future national and international champions.
