Merry Christmas to each and everyone...
What an amazing end to the year 2016 ....
Our team PBXI chased down a massive total of 242 in 27.4 overs despite the loss of 5 runs in last match while chasing 219 in 22 overs.
This time our team were one step ahead. It was totally a team effort.
Summary:-
BOWLING: Good start by our opening bowlers with some ups and downs in the middle overs and the fantastic death over bowling which cause atleast 15-20 runs to the opposition.

BATTING: With the first ball four from Satnam Singh team were looking for the good start but then with 3 down in no time our team was under pressure for some time but 50+ run partnership between Gurjeet Singh and Birender Singh steadied our chase and in last 100 run partnership between Rohit Gupta and Gurjeet Singh finally sealed the game for us.

HIGHLIGHTS: Opening and Death over Bowling.
151* run knock from Gurjeet Singh with around 7 Sixes and 10 fours in the innings
100 run Partnership between Gurjeet Singh and Rohit Gupta in 7.4 overs.
Last but not the least the WINNING SIX from Gurjeet on 4th ball of the last over.

This year Gurjeet had an batting average of 50+ runs/innings.

Take a bow whole team and specially our captain Prateek Grover in making a team of 11 a hard fought battle inside out but it is really a hectic and thankless job that only a team man can do.

After a long wait of 15 months and 9 days PB-XI is going to play its first tournament with leather ball. Everybody is too excited with new captain Prateek Grover. Looking forward to do well in our first one.
