Today in Istanbul WAKO President Roy Baker, together with Salim Kayici and Istvan Kiraly, WAKO Vice Presidents, had a very important meeting with IOC member and president of Turkish Olympic Committee Mr. Ugur Erdener.
On the meeting it was discussed the significant growth of kickboxing in Turkiye, the ongoing processes of kickboxing inclusion of the various Olympic Games, the development of the sport in recent years and it progression working with Olympic family of sport.

WAKO India National (Children, Cadets and Juniors) Kickboxing Championship 2022 to be held from 21 to 25 June 2022 at Kolkata, West Bengal.
This Championships is selection based for Upcoming WAKO World (Children, Cadets and Juniors) Kickboxing Championship to be held from 30th September to 9 October 2022 at Italy.

Turkish Open World Cup will be held in Istanbul between 12-15 May,2022.
From the 1st January 2022 WADA has updated its prohibited list.
As WAKO is a full signatory of WADA and compliant to the Code, we require all national federations to update their protocols and inform their members of the revision and new list.
Doping has no place in the sport of Kickboxing and we must continue to ensure this remains the case in the future.

After the success of the very first Indian Open 2020, we could'nt repeat the same in 2021 due to covid19.
Now that the situation is improving and we hope to get rid of the pandemic soon. We are glad to launch the poster of 2nd Indian Open International Kickboxing Tournament from 9-13 February 2022.
