Request for Immediate Action Regarding Water Shortage in Wakura Village

Wakura, 15 April

We, the residents of Wakura village, are facing a serious water shortage issue that is causing great difficulty in our daily lives. Despite several attempts to contact the concerned PHE employee in our village, the response has been very disappointing.

The local employee has informed us that there is no proper timetable for water supply in our area. The water supply is completely dependent on electricity, and the department does not have any generator facilities to manage the supply during power outages. Moreover, the employee has clearly stated that they cannot do anything and advised us to contact higher authorities.

We feel helpless due to this negligence and lack of responsibility. Therefore, we humbly request the PHE Department and District Administration Ganderbal to kindly replace the current employee in Wakura with someone who is sincere, responsible, and committed to resolving the water supply issue.

It is our humble appeal to take immediate action to improve the situation in our village.
