Some runs are about the finish line. Some are about something far greater.
It was an honor for Tsomgo Ultra to provide the technical support for the 5K Run for Compassion, organized by Mayalmu Shelter Home in association with SBI Sewa.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the picturesque village of Assam Lingzey โ Mulaso Road, the run was dedicated to celebrating His Holiness' 91st Birthday. Over 300 participants from across the state came together in a beautiful celebration of compassion, community, and fitness.
From the youngest runners in the Under-12 category to the Open and Veteran (50+) champions, every participant made the day memorable. A special salute to the incredible runners from Darjeeling who ran all the way to Assam Lingzey, completing an inspiring 91 km tribute in honor of His Holiness.
Heartiest congratulations to Mayalmu Shelter Home for organizing such a meaningful event and for their unwavering dedication to serving the vulnerable sections of our society.
Congratulations to all the winners, every finisher, every volunteer, and everyone who made this event a success. Whether you ran 5K or 91K - you carried the true spirit of compassion with every step. ๐๐โโ๏ธ๐

CONGRATULATIONS to 'The Magical Four' ๐๐ผ๐ฏ
Starting from Gangtok and battling through the tough terrain of North Sikkim, the Magical Four Ultra Team completed a remarkable 170-kilometre endurance expedition in just four days, finally reaching the majestic Dongkha La Pass, one of the worldโs highest motorable mountain passes.
This expedition stands not merely as a race against distance and altitude, but as a celebration of human capability and determination.
This remarkable Phase 2 expedition was dedicated to the 50 glorious years of Sikkimโs statehood and carried forward a message honouring the stateโs rich legacy and progress over the decades.
Leading this incredible mission were Ultra runners Bhupendra Hang S***a, Basant Pradhan, Anup Jyoti Baniya from Sikkim and veteran endurance runner Luv Burman from Kolkata. Battling unpredictable mountain conditions, thin air, exhaustion and unforgiving terrain, the team pushed beyond ordinary limits to complete what many would consider impossible. With every kilometre, the runners showcased not just physical strength but immense mental grit and unity.
The expedition also carries special significance for Tsomgo Ultra, as the ultra runners Bhupendra Hang S***a and Basant Pradhan are our core members while Anup Baniya and Luv Burman are our proud ambassadors.
Special appreciation also goes to Mr. Arjun Pradhan and Mr. Santosh Gurung for their amazing en-route backup support throughout the expedition. They played a crucial role behind the scene ensuring the smooth ex*****on and safety of the mission.
The entire Tsomgo Ultra family extends heartfelt congratulations to the team for successfully completing this monumental challenge and for inspiring countless others through their grit and dedication.
With Phase 1 already completed successfully and Phase 2 now conquered, the journey continues. The team is set to take on Phase 3 and Phase 4 in the coming days, continuing their mission of covering some of the highest motorable passes in the world.
Tsomgo Ultra wishes the entire team strength, safety, and success for their upcoming expeditions. โจ๐๐ฏ
