22nd State Karate Championship
Held from 2nd to 3rd May 2026 at the Indoor Hall, Paljor Stadium Complex, Gangtok.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Chairman of the State Sports Development Board, Shri Rinzing Chopel, for gracing the opening ceremony as the Chief Guest, and to the Hon’ble President of the Sikkim Olympic Association, Shri Kuber Bhandari, for attending the final day as the Chief Guest.
I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to respected Shri Jaslal Pradhan (Arjuna Awardee), respected Mrs. Sandhya Gurung (Dronacharya Awardee 2021), respected Mrs. Yangchen D. Tamang, Secretary of the Sports & Youth Affairs Department, and respected Dr. R. B. Biswakarma, Director of the Sports & Youth Affairs Department, for attending as Guests of Honour.
My sincere gratitude also goes to all esteemed guests, State Sports Associations, all District Karate Associations, Technical Officials, Volunteers, and the Executive Members of the Sikkim State Karate Do Association for their valuable support and contribution in making this championship a grand success.
