Sir, your journey has been much more than building a sporting club. You have been a mentor, guide, motivator and teacher to countless young athletes.
You taught us that victory is not always about winning a match—it is about having the courage to step onto the field, the discipline to keep improving, and the character to stand tall even after defeat.
Through YUVA, you have created a platform where young dreams can find direction, where talent can find opportunity, and where sport can become a pathway to confidence, friendship and a better future.

🏆⚽ YUVA TRIUMPHS IN A THRILLING EXHIBITION MATCH! ⚽🏆

On the occasion of National Sports Day 2026, commemorating the birth anniversary of the legendary Indian hockey player Major Dhyan Chand, YUVA Sporting Club of Sikkim played a thrilling exhibition football match against Nar Bahadur Bhandari Government College (NBBGC) today at the NBBGC Playground, Tadong.

The match, organised by YUVA Sporting Club of Sikkim in collaboration with MY Bharat Sikkim, witnessed an exciting battle between two determined sides. After a hard-fought 90 minutes, the score remained 2–2, taking the match to a penalty shootout.

More than just a match, today's game was a celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, youth participation and the spirit of sports — values that perfectly reflect the legacy of Major Dhyan Chand.

A heartfelt thank you to MY Bharat Sikkim, NBBGC, the college authorities, match officials, players, volunteers and everyone who came forward to support and make this celebration a success. 🙏
