Assam Cricket Association's Stadium vacant rooms will be used for quarantine the people of Assam coming from outside the state.

This is informed by ACA Secretary Mr. Devajit Lon Saikia.

Curators & Groundsman of ACA Stadium mourn the demise of Zulkarnaine Maizul Haque (Jorhat) who died on 15th June, 2020. He was 85. He was a Retired Head Master of Puja Utua Dubi L.P. School, Jorhat. He had also acted in Assamese Film 'Ronga Police'. His contribution towards Cricket Pitch Preparation will always be remember. May his soul rest in peace.

It is always a tough task to let go a dearest one. The whole Cricket fraternity of Assam is mourning the sudden demise of Utpal Kalita (Bappy) of Goalpara. He was such a good friend/organizer/Cricket Coach that anyone never let him go. But, destiny have another story that beyond our control. It is really very tough to write anything about you Utpal, still the world will move on. You will always be missed. Love you dear.

In view of the emergent situation arising due to pandemic of Novel Corona Virus(Covid 19) ,
Romen Dutta, President, Assam Cricket Association and Devajit Saikia, Secretary, Assam Cricket Association on behalf of the State cricket body, has decided to offer the Assam Cricket Association Stadium, Barsapara, Guwahati and its premises to Government of Assam for establishing temporary hospital and quarantine centre. They further assured that ACA will provide every possible support to the State Govt to fight against Novel Corona Virus outbreak during this critical juncture.
