MPL Day 4:
Match 7:
Bhut Maza Aati Hai v/s Sachche Muthbhedis

The 7th match of the tournament witnessed BMAH and Muthbedis.
Captain Devesh Mishra won the toss and elected to bowl first.
BMAH shattered the top order of Muthbedis very easily with the help of the 1st hat-trick of the league by Varun Singh.
But finally Muthbhedis managed 49 runs at the end of their innings.
In the 2nd innings, BMAH made a slow start and some tight bowling from Dhaval Goel and Shantam Verma made this small target look out of reach for BMAH. But a couple of sixes and a boundary from Aman Singh's bat helped BMAH to finish the match in the seventh over.

MPL Day 4:
Match 8:
Maalchees v/s Nawaabs

The very first match of the tournament that was played between Maalchees and Nawaabs on Day1 had resulted in the favour of Nawaabs. So today was the time for Maalchees to take the revenge. And Maalchees took it successfully by defending a huge target of 86 runs in just 7.5 overs.

Maalchees won the toss, and decided to bowl first.
Karan and Deepak opened the innings for Nawaabs. The innings was a very strange one which we believe happens rarely in the world of Cricket. The Luck was not in Maalchees' favour in the beginning. Some poor fielding stuff from Maalchees led Nawaabs to a massive total of 85 runs in just 8 overs in which Karan, the opener, contributed 82 runs. An excellent innings was played by Karan which helped him in snatching the Orange cap from Chandan Joshi of Team Maalchees. Nawaabs made 85 runs for 3 wickets.
It builded a very high pressure on Maalchees side as the target was very difficult to chase in 8 overs.
But Maalchees got a good start by the 38-runs partnership of the openers Shashank Singh and Chandan Joshi. Then came the magical over of Deepak which headed both the openers back to the pavilion.
Maalchees needed 48 runs in 24 balls.
Then the match experienced a very good batting performance by Raghav Goswami (22*) along with the support of Mridul Gupta and Pranjal Pathak which finally resulted in Maalchees snatching the match from the jaws of Nawaabs.

P.S. Maalchees are on fire by a hat-trick of winning, but Karan's innings was also worth-watching.

MPL Day3:
Match 6:

Maalchees v/s Sachche Muthbhedi

Continuing the series of many unpredictable moments happening on the ground, this match also experienced similar things.
Team Captain, Harsh*t Mathur won the toss for Sachche Muthbhedis and he elected to bat first.

The start was a normal one for both the teams, but the match became very devastating for Sachche Muthbhedis when an excellent bowling spell (3 wickets for 7runs) was delivered by the Captain of Maalchees, Mridul Gupta along with economical overs by Raghav, Chandan, Pranjal and Ansh.
Further, Muthbhedis lost back to back wickets within no time resulting to a total of only 32 runs on the board.

In the 2nd innings, Muthbhedis also showed their best side in bowling. Some marvellous deliveries by Gopal Yadav, Shantam Verma and Utkarsh Singh shattered the entire upper batting order of Maalchees.
But an intelligent inning by Pranjal Pathak (15*) kept on lowering down the pressure on Maalchees side and finally, Maalchees grabbed the match from the hands of Muthbhedis and registered their victory.

P.S. Maalchees won the match by 2 wickets and snatched both the Orange Cap and the Purple Cap summing up to a total of 6 points in the Points Tally.

MPL Day 3:
Match 5:

The 5th match of the tournament was played between the Nawaabs and Bhut Maza Aati Hai.
Nawaabs were made to bat first.
It was a low scoring match. Fantastic piece of bowling by the Bhut Maza Aati Hai bowlers including Rishabh Shahi (3 wkts), Shubham Bhatia (2 wkts) Varun Singh (1 wkt) restricted Nawaabs to a total of 36 runs.
The target was chased down easily by fearless batting of Rishabh Shahi (14runs) and Devesh Mishra (15runs) and marking a victory over Nawaabs by 5 wickets.

Nawaabs couldn't continue their winning streak.

MPL Day2:
Match 4:
The Second match of the day was played between Bhut Maza Aati Hai and Maalchees.
Bhut Maza Aati Hai were made to bat first.
Their team made a shaky start and lost early wickets in the form of Devesh Mishra, Rishabh Shahi, Aman Singh and so on.
An overall Bowling and Fielding performance from Maalchees restricted Bhut Maza Aati Hai to just 53 runs at the end of 8 overs.
On the other side, Malchees also made a similar kind of start and lost early wickets in the form of Shashank Singh, Deevanshu Arora, Mridul Gupta, Raghav Goswami and so on, but a handsome inning from Chandan Joshi (35*) was the performance of the match and helped Maalchees cross the winning line.

MPL Day2:
Match 3:
The first match of the day was played between Sache Muthbedis and Nawaabs.
Nawaabs won the toss and they were put to bat first.
Quick running between the wickets and a quick fire 33 by Dhrity Gangwar helped Nawaabs reach a majestic total of 79 runs in 8 overs.
On the other side..
Sache Muthbedis batted equally well but felt short of 4 runs in a match that kept audience glued to their seats till the very last ball.
It was just another triumph for the Nawaabs.

MPL first clash was between Nawaabs and Maalchees .
While the initial start of Nawaabs was a bit trembling the Nawaabs later took control of the match scoring a total of 61 runs in 8 overs. Which included a beautiful innings of 32 frm Karan.
Maalchees started of well but wickets kept falling at regular interval. None of the batsman really clicked and this resulted in a loss by 16 runs.

The innaugration of MPL was very enthusiastic!
The first match between Maalcheez and Nawabs was exciting to the core. However Nawabs took the match from the jaws of the Maalcheez. The striking knock of Karan(1st Year) took Nawabs to their victory and Mridul Gupta was seriously injured in the match. However later when taken to Indo-German nothing serious came out ! :D
The second match between Sachche Muthbhedis and Bahut Maza aati hai was a very cut throat competition. Batting first the quick fire knock of Aman Singh took them to a decent total. Gopal Krishna Yadav and Shantam Verma bowled well and curtailed Bahut maza aati hai in their death overs and stopped them pretty low. But then in the second innings magical inswingers from Rishabh Shahi destroyed the top order of Muthbhedis and later Varun Singh(1st year) and Shubham Bhatia led them to their victory.
