Four words.

Behind them are five years of coaching, 2,800+ hours of client coaching, 200+ hours of coach training, evaluated recordings, exams, and many moments when I had to choose growth over convenience.

Yesterday, I received my MCC credential from the International Coaching Federation.
For those outside the coaching profession, MCC stands for Master Certified Coach.

It is the highest professional distinction awarded by ICF, the leading body for coach education and standards worldwide, and is held by 3%-4% of credentialed coaches globally.

There are only ~2500 MCC coaches in the world.
Now, my name joins this list.

I feel proud.
And also deeply humbled.

As an entrepreneur, revenue matters. Growth matters. Profit matters.
But as a coach, excellence matters more to me.

The quality of my presence matters. The depth of my listening matters. The rigour of my practice matters. The trust my clients place in me matters.

When I received my PCC in 2023, life was different.
I had more time. Fewer client and writing commitments.

This time, the journey was harder.
My coaching practice has grown, my client calendar is fuller, and my writing commitments has expanded.

Finding the window for this was not easy.
But then, one needs to find time for what matters.

It took 18 months of smart planning, disciplined ex*****on, and quiet consistency.
No shortcuts. No waiting for the “perfect” season.

Just one decision I repeated to myself many times:
If excellence matters, make room for it.

That's what I want to share today.
Success does not have to come at the cost of excellence in your craft.
You can grow your business and deepen your capability.
You can serve more people and still hold yourself to higher standards.
You can become busier and still choose to become better.

This credential is not just a title after my name.
It is a reminder that mastery is built in the unseen hours.
- In the sessions no one watches.
- In the feedback you choose to receive.
- In the standards you refuse to lower.
- In the work you do when there's no applause.

And none of this would have been possible without the wonderful clients who trusted me, challenged me, returned to me, referred me, and allowed me to walk beside them in some of their most important leadership moments.
