Then came the day when I started my training, was given my diet chart, my workout schedule and it was an early Saturday morning that my trainer and mentor told me that we start on Monday morning but be prepared to leave everything you love....but then instead of dreading it, I took it up as a challenge since I was so determined to participate on such a big scale competition I.e. Amateur Olympia, 2019, Mumbai. Well, a person like me who is a fitness freak but is also a foodie, equally, decided to follow the right track for my competition preparation. The day I started preparing for my competition I gave up all my favorite food items ๐ช hardest being chocolates and pastries ๐
๐ my sweet tooth for them ๐
Also, I love partying and yes, I used to booze too but I literally gave up everything and am sure more athletes like me would've done the same too. Bodybuilding does not come easy. You've got to be super strict with your diet. All my food items were quantified and measured via the grams machine ๐
I did go through a few mental breakdowns too initially on seeing good food but gradually I became resistant. Even if I went for any party or wedding, I'd still not cheat on my diet. Some people used to find me weird, carrying protein shakes to weddings but then at the end of the day I knew what I was doing and why I was doing๐ชThough I surely used to visit restaurants regularly to become more resistant and to satisfy myself just by looking at the good food. At times, my mom caught me smelling dishes too๐ but that's okay I guess ๐

Amateur Olympia 2019๐
Will soon post my story regarding how it all started, my Amateur Olympia journey and the friends I made, the lessons I learnt, how my will power strengthened, how I learnt to control my mind, heart and soul not forgetting my stomach and it's cravings in specific ๐ How I believed in myself and also somewhere learnt to believe more in myself and the hard work I had been putting in as a natural athlete๐ช How I fought the world to reach this stage๐ How I grew so much during my journey as a person, overall.
