Dear all,

Danswrang Narzary Memorial 1st All Assam State Level Inter University Kickboxing Championship 2022 to be organized by Assam Kickboxing Association (AKA) with the support of NKF NG WAKO India at Guwahati from May 3 to 4, 2022.
The said event will take place in both male and female sections and the age groups and weight divisions will be from 17 to 25 years. (Vide attached Ltr Memo No.DHE/PA/Misc/3/ 2018/331-A dtd 4.3.2022)

Another feather in the cap for Biswajit Kakoti.
Kakoti has not only earned distinction as a organiser and practitioner of Karate-Do and Kickboxing, but he has also given much thought to its philosophy. Very few exponents of martial arts think on such lines.

AKA's Assam Kickboxing Contingent secured the second position with 53 medals, including 32 gold in the WAKO India's Cadet, Junior & Senior National Kickboxing Championship 2021, held in Goa from 26th to 28th November.

Many personalities have played a key role in running Assam Kickboxing Association (AKA) in particular and bringing about a positive change for all round development, promotion and preservation of AKA (WAKO Assam) sports society including Mr. Danswarang Narzary who passed away on 01.12.202 at Raj Mundry Govt Hospital, District : East Godavari, Near Central Jail, Andhra Pradesh after holding a gold medal at WAKO India's National Kickboxing Championship held at Goa from Nov 26-28, 2021
Our heartfelt condolences to Danswarang Narzary and others in the family. May his noble soul remain in eternal peace.

The Assam Kickboxing team won 53 medals in different weight categories and events like Kick Light, Light Contact, Point Fighting, Full Contact, Low Kick, Musical Form and K-1, including 32 golds in WAKO India's National Kickboxing Championship which was held at Goa from Nov 26 to 28, 2021 where in this over all national meet, Assam clinched the 2nd best runners-up (Vide attached the trophy and photograph of players and officials).
The team was led by Biswajit Kakoti, founder General Secretary of the State Kickboxing body.

Recently we met Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Hon'ble Chief Minister, Assam from State Kickboxing Association (Estd.02.02.2002) regarding all matter including warm up competition i.e. 9th All Assam State Level Inter School Kickboxing Championship 2021 for boys and girls under 14,17 and 19 years.
Now, the time to look forward and go ahead with our dreams to make it true.

Finally today (24.10.2021) selected this State team from Assam Kickboxing Association (AKA) for National Kickboxing Championship of WAKO India which will be held from 26 to 28 November 2021 at Goa. Soon federation will get AKA's official movement notice.
