Vishwamitrasana тЬиЁЯзШ
Vishwamitra was celebrated sage or seer, the femily priest of the solar race of kings and the auther of several Vedic hymns, particularly of the seventh Mandala of RG Veda. He was the typical representative of the brahmanic dignity and power and is one of the sages who are identified with the stars of the Great Bear. The rivalry between him and the royal sage Vishwamitra, a kshatriya(a man of the warrior caste) who by his piety and asceticism raised himself to brahman status, forms the subjects of many legends.
