Three medals. One Asian Games. What a campaign!

Five Indian athletes managed something special at the Asian Games — winning three medals each across different sports.

Kumkum Mohod — 2 Gold, 1 Silver

Neeru Dhanda — 2 Gold, 1 Silver

Vithya Ramraj — 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze

Gulveer Singh — 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze

Rudrankksh Patil — 2 Silver, 1 Bronze

Different sports. Different events. Different journeys.

But one thing brought them together — three medals at a single Asian Games.

And it’s more than just a medal count. It shows the depth of talent India has across sports — athletes capable of stepping onto the podium again and again.

India’s most adaptable batter? KL Rahul.

KL Rahul has batted for India from No. 1 to No. 6, adapting every time the team needed him.

The latest example came against the West Indies. With India 28/2 in the third ODI, Rahul walked in at No. 5 and produced a stunning 129 off 87 balls* to take India past 350.

Opener. Middle-order batter. Wicketkeeper.
Whatever the situation demands, KL Rahul finds a way to make an impact.

That versatility is what makes him one of India’s most complete batters.

India’s javelin podium has new names.

In 2023, Neeraj Chopra and Kishore Jena finished 1–2 in the Asian Games javelin. Three years later, India has done it again.

This time, Rohit Yadav and Yashveer Singh stepped up.

Rohit won bronze with 84.35m, while Yashveer moved into silver with 85.14m before improving to a personal best of 85.72m on his final attempt.

Different names, same result — India on the Asian Games javelin podium.

And perhaps the biggest takeaway? Even without Neeraj Chopra, Indian javelin continues to produce athletes ready for the big stage.

She didn’t just reach the final. She made history on the way there.

Anahat became the first Indian woman to reach the Asian Games women’s singles squash final.

Her semifinal was a battle. Down 0–2 against Japan’s Satomi Watanabe and facing match points, she somehow turned it around to win 3–2.

She couldn’t finish with gold, but the silver was historic in its own right.

At just 18 years old, Anahat Singh became the first Indian woman to win an Asian Games singles squash medal.

A new milestone for Indian squash.

42 years later, the record had a new name.

Vithya Ramraj had an Asian Games campaign to remember.

She won gold in the women’s 4x400m relay, silver in the mixed 4x400m relay and bronze in the 400m hurdles.

But the bronze medal was extra special — she clocked 54.75 seconds, breaking her own national record in the event.

The record was first held by P.T. Usha for 42 years before Vithya surpassed it in 2023, and she continued to push the mark even further in 2026.

From rewriting records to winning three medals, Vithya Ramraj created a memorable chapter in Indian athletics. 🇮🇳

When girls get the opportunity, they make it count.

From Anahat Singh and Mirabai Chanu to Neeru Dhanda and Vidhya Ramraj, Indian women have been making their mark across the Asian Games.

Different sports. Different journeys.
But the same determination to represent India and chase their dreams.

Give them the support. Give them the opportunity. Watch them shine.
