💪 **Mastering Tempo for Muscle Building** 💪
Did you know that the tempo of your lifts can make a huge difference in muscle growth? 🏋️♂️ Let’s break it down:
1️⃣ **Eccentric Phase (Lowering)**: Slow and controlled (3-4 seconds). This phase creates the most muscle damage, leading to growth.
2️⃣ **Isometric Hold (Pause)**: Hold for 1-2 seconds at the bottom. This pause ensures you’re not using momentum, keeping the muscle engaged.
3️⃣ **Concentric Phase (Lifting)**: Explosive and powerful (1-2 seconds). This phase engages fast-twitch muscle fibers, crucial for building strength and size.
🕒 Try this tempo: 4-1-2-1
- **4 seconds** lowering the weight
