đ¤If youâre over 30 and trying to conceive, these are some of the often-overlooked pieces I want you to pay attention toâŹď¸
1ď¸âŁSkipping meals or going too long without eating.
Your body needs consistent energy and nutrients to support reproductive function-not another round of restriction.
2ď¸âŁConstant blood sugar highs + crashes.
What you eat, how you pair your meals, and your overall eating pattern can all influence blood sugar regulation and metabolic health.
3ď¸âŁNot eating enough protein.
Protein is essential for building and maintaining tissues, hormones, enzymes and so much more.
Your fertility diet doesnât need to be high-protein, it needs to be adequate.
4ď¸âŁA nutrient-poor âhealthyâ diet.
You can eat salads and smoothies all day and still miss important nutrients. Variety matters.
5ď¸âŁLiving in a cycle of restriction â cravings â guilt.
Your relationship with food matters too. Constantly trying to âeat perfectlyâ can make nourishing yourself harder, not easier.
𫰠Fertility nutrition isnât about cutting out carbs, sugar, gluten, dairy, or your favorite cultural foods.
Itâs about nourishing your body, supporting metabolic health, and building sustainable habits BEFORE pregnancy.
Your fertility diet should support your life, not take it over.

5ď¸âŁsigns your fertility may be on the right track.
đЏYour period alone cannot tell you whether youâre fertile.
But your cycle, ovulation signs and overall reproductive health can offer some useful clues.
Here are 5 generally reassuring signsâŹď¸
1ď¸âŁRegular, predictable periods.
Cycles that come at consistent intervals, without frequent skipped periods or major irregularity, can suggest regular ovulation.
2ď¸âŁFertile cervical mucus.
Clear, slippery and stretchy discharge - often compared to raw egg white - is a typical sign of rising estrogen around ovulation and can help identify your fertile window.
3ď¸âŁA clear ovulation pattern.
If you track your cycle, a sustained rise in basal body temperature (BBT) after ovulation can provide evidence that ovulation has occurred.
4ď¸âŁNo significant reproductive symptoms.
Severe period pain, persistent pelvic pain, unusually heavy bleeding, bleeding between periods or pain during s*x deserve attention. Painful periods shouldnât simply be dismissed as
ânormal.â
5ď¸âŁNo known fertility risk factors + age on your side.
Age, ovarian reserve, previous pelvic conditions and other factors can influence fertility. Having no known reproductive problems is reassuring â but it doesnât guarantee fertility.
And remember: these are signs, not a fertility test.
If youâre planning pregnancy, lifestyle matters too.
A balanced diet, regular physical activity, avoiding smoking and excessive alcohol, maintaining a healthy weight, and taking an appropriate preconception multivitamin, particularly one containing folic acid, can support your nutritional and reproductive health.
Whether youâre planning a pregnancy now or sometime in the future, taking care of your reproductive health early is always a good idea.

đEveryone wants the exciting part of fitness.
The new workout.
The perfect diet.
The quick transformation.
But the bodies that actually change are built on the things that donât get talked about enough, sleeping well, lifting consistently, eating enough protein, and showing up even after a bad day.
The basics arenât s*xy, but they work. Every single time.
Which one do you need to work on the most?
And I hope the next generation of girls grows up believing muscles are as normal as makeup.
Not because every girl has to lift weights.
But because every girl deserves to know that strength belongs to her too.
