Kavita Raut became the fourth Indian to qualify for Marathon in Rio Olympics after winning Gold medal at 12th South Asian Games. The 30-year-old Raut easily clinched the marathon gold in 2 hours 38 minutes and 38 seconds to become the fourth Indian women to have qualified for Rio Games women’s marathon. Dipika Pallikal enters semi-finals in Toronto

Last year's runner-up Dipika Pallikal moved into the semi-finals of the Granite Open squash tournament after a convincing win over Egyptian Salma Hany Ibrahim in Toronto.

The 17th-ranked Indian and second seed defeated her 27th-ranked opponent 12-10, 11-2, 11-4 in the quarterfinals held on Wednesday.

She will play Nicolette Fernandes (GUY) in the semifinal.
