It was a privilege to deliver the Welcome Address at the seminar as Vice Chairman of Andhra Chamber of Commerce (Telangana Chapter) on “Strengthening GMP Compliance for Pharma MSMEs” organized by the Andhra Chamber of Commerce in association with SIDBI, Hyderabad.
India today is widely recognized as the “Pharmacy of the World,” supplying nearly 20% of global generic medicines to over 200 countries. As global markets demand stricter quality standards, GMP compliance and regulatory readiness have become critical for Pharma MSMEs aspiring to expand internationally.
The seminar brought together distinguished experts including Shri K. Raja Bhanu (Pharmexcil), Shri V. Chandramouli (SIDBI), and Shri Tumma Rama Rao, an experienced GMP compliance auditor. Their insights offered valuable direction on strengthening quality systems and preparing MSME manufacturers for global regulatory expectations.
Such industry interactions are essential to help MSMEs upgrade, comply, and unlock new export opportunities for Indian pharmaceuticals.
