Tomorrow we are going to have a match against Osmania University Law college team at 9:00 A.M. Match venue will be informed at the time of the practice session.

Today evening at 5 o clock we will have a small practice session. All the cricket eflu members along with interested players can come for practice. We can not assure that you will be in playing eleven. So please cooperate with us.

What's on my mind, this sentence on facebook is tempting me to write my note about EPL SEASON 2.0. Starting with the number of players, we proved that we have done a great job, when many said that cricket as game does not reflects the democracy on the campus, sorry but it’s not true , this year we had 210 players directly playing as participants and more than 35 officials were involved in conducting this amazing tournament. Other than this there were 20 participants, who were left out because they came to us after the deadline. We had this year 12 teams, and jumbo you all played really well, as the speculations were, that it would be the worst cricket tournament ever on the campus, but it was the most entertaining tournament I have ever seen in my two and half years on campus. There were as many as 213 sixes hit during whole tournament, there were 4355 runs scored in the whole tournament. We had a heavy dose of entertainment, it will work as saturated fat in our body till we have next cricketing event. What seemed to be impossible this year like past years was bringing girls on the cricket ground; it was not at all an easy job, they had a ton of questions about cricket and by the grace of god we were able to answer them, and hats off to all the girls, who played, who watched, who had patience and tolerated our loudspeakers for past few weeks. You all together proved the entire allegation wrong that we as cricket community are anti girl and we don’t want you people to see on ground. We did not try before honestly to bring you on ground, this time we did and from the next time organizers will not have to go and ask for registrations, I know you all will come yourself and you will tell us that we want to play cricket. I wish that numbers will increase next time.

We had the idea of bringing academic and non academic staffs too on the ground, they told us also , but because of limited time , we were not able to present before you this match, next time I promise on behalf of cricket eflu that we will have this match as well.

I am finding out the ways to get published our EPL souvenirs combining last year and this year together. This will be a new thing and the memories will never become faded like this, whenever we will see this book, it will make our memory fresh.

Last but not the least I would like to thank Ramniwas Baira, Sree Kanth bhaiya for helping me in organizing the whole tournament, Sudhanshu Shekhar and Sourabh Ohnesorge for advertisement, it was unforgettable to work with you this year also, you both were too good, and thanks a lot Einfacher Shahbaz , you helped us in accessing the electricity in making pitch and on the news area. Mudasir Kamran bhaiya, Saurabh Kumar bhaiya, Shekhar and Kanishk Mishra, you all were brilliant in your work, even I tried to make your job little bit tougher by dedicating the matches from quarterfinals till finals on different players, but you people managed it very well, you all were the icons of tournament.

Grounds committee , which presented a fresh air to the pitch and ground , was headed by Ashish Kumar bhaiya , Ravi Kant, Wasim , Ram, Saurabh Suman , you all made us feel proud, because without your support it would have been only a cricket tournament but not a fabulous cricket tournament.

Umpires, I laughed sometimes and it brought some embarrassing moments for me too, it took my patience, I tried this year to assign umpires secretly so that no one gets an idea, who will be the umpire, it was controversial , but because of this we saw less controversies in this tournament. First of all Kanishka, you did your job with full of perfection, I could not give you an extra prize, but your toughness and your managing attitude was the backbone of this tournament, you made big controversies look small. Amit bhaiya, you did your job with a very positive attitude, you did umpiring for us in most of matches , you had tough times inside the ground, but you made it look so simple, and that is the job of an umpire, because an umpire is not a person , who runs away with controversies, rather than that an umpire is a person, who bad phases of the game into a sweet memory, tons of thanks to you from bottom of my heart. Other umpires also like Mukesh bhaiya, Shahbaz , Girish bhaiya, Satish bhaiya, Sidhartha, Raam, Sourabh suman (vicky), sourabh, zahid akhtar, Shekhar , you all worked together and presented a class of umpiring, which is needed , especially when you are conducting a tournament like EPL, where controversies always follows you, so hats off to you guys also.

Bringing my long note to an end, if I’ll not thank these two persons than it would be a waste of writing this long note, Ravi and Vicky , you will be in my heart forever for your indispensible support throughout the tournament. You were the soul of this tournament. At the same time I would like to thank our vice chancellor, registrar, our sports in charge, Professor Rjagopal sir and other officials who helped us throughout the tournament.
sweepers, electricians, carpenters helped us time to time , so we thank them also for their regular support.

In the girls' special match, team Gajabbb defeated team Ajabbb. Aishwarya was Man of the Match.

Chennai Challengers became the Champion of this season by defeating Pune Warriors in the Grand Finale.
