The Vooty Honours brought the members back to the course on 28 March. A round played at their own pace, a afternoon that didn't ask much of anyone, and the kind of afternoon that tends to run longer than planned. Some came for the golf. Most stayed for what followed. That is the nature of a gathering at Vooty — the competition is mild by design, and the company makes up the difference. The course was in good condition. The afternoon held. The clubhouse at Vooty was designed to extend the round, not end it. Members gather here before dawn and after dark. Golf is the common language, community is what forms.
