Sometimes I just stand here and look around… and it hits me.

These aren’t just bikes.
And those aren’t just trophies.

They’re years of my life.

Early mornings, long drives, empty pockets, broken bikes, injuries, bad weekends, good weekends, people who believed in me, people who didn’t… and a lot of moments where I had no idea where all of this was going.

I just knew I loved motorcycles. I loved racing. And I wanted to keep going.

Some of these trophies mean a lot. Some of them I barely remember winning. But I remember the struggle behind almost every one of them.

And the bikes… each one takes me back to a different version of myself.

I’m still chasing. Still learning. Still hungry for more.

But today, walking through this little space I call home, I felt grateful.

Because once upon a time, all of this was just a dream in my head.

Now I get to live amongst the memories. ❤️

Your bike survived the ride. Now don’t ruin it while cleaning.

Here’s my simple post-monsoon cleaning routine:

1️⃣ Wash the entire bike first to remove loose mud and dirt. Avoid blasting high-pressure water directly at bearings, seals, electrical connectors and other sensitive mechanical parts.

2️⃣ Remove the front sprocket cover, disc guards, skid plate (if fitted), and other mud-trapping parts. You’ll be surprised how much dirt gets packed into these areas.

3️⃣ Do a diesel wash on heavily contaminated areas like the front sprocket, rear sprocket, chain, swingarm, suspension linkage, lower front forks, wheels and tyres. It helps loosen stubborn grease and mud before giving them a proper clean.

4️⃣ Dry the bike thoroughly using a microfiber cloth. This is one of the most important steps. As you wipe every surface, you’ll naturally spot loose bolts, oil leaks, damaged parts, cracked plastics or anything else that needs attention before your next ride.

5️⃣ Finish by lubricating and inspecting. L**e the chain once it’s dry, then check chain tension, brake pads, tyres, spokes and all the controls to make sure the bike is ready for the next adventure.

Finally switched to a self-retractable ratchet system, and I don’t think I can go back to regular straps.

Loading and unloading the bike is faster, there’s no loose webbing flapping around, and packing up after a ride takes seconds instead of minutes.

If you regularly carry a motorcycle, this is one upgrade that’s absolutely worth it.
