When artwork wraps a carton, the corners are where you find out if it worked.
This illustration runs continuously across four faces. Every fold has to land exactly where the design allows, or you get a break in the linework right at the corner — the first thing anyone notices and the last thing anyone forgives.
Illustrated skin tones are the other risk. They shift further off-target than flat colour does, and there’s no correcting them once the run is going. So they get proofed on the real stock before press, not signed off from a PDF.
