Do you exercise on Seated Rows? Most of you will be answering yes to my question..coz it's a very common machine..for those who haven't tried this machine yet...don't worry...you will soon...and before you try it why not read the most common mistakes gym freaks make while using Seated Rows.
It's a machine which is used to tone back muscles. This machine is highly suitable for building middle-back thickness.
Now let's look at some common mistakes:
1. Leaning Back as You Pull
Leaning the back reduces the stress weight from back muscles and moves it more towards hip-joint which defeats the overall purpose of the seated rows. 

2. Rounding Your Back
This causes your back to go in a disc-shape and can result in a serious long-term injury.

3. Failing to Pull Your Elbows Back
You need to squeeze your back muscles and for that it is very important that while pulling the weight towards you, the elbows must be perpendicular to the shoulder and close to the waist.

4. Always Using The Same Handle
Many people who have been doing seated rows for years do not know that there are other types of handles that can also be used which will involve slightly different back muscles.

5. Not Dropping Your Shoulder Blades
The moment you stop keeping your shoulders in upright position, your upper lat muscles will start activating.

These mistakes mainly happen when the pride is in lifting-more rather than focussing on the quality of the workout.
