Farmer’s pain in vain

The farmer has the ability to earn money from the mud. They are the ones that work in acres, not in hours. They are the son of the soil. If we are eating healthy today, farmers are the reason. Without them we have no existence, without farmers, mankind cannot progress, still, the farmers face many difficulties, and this time the government has introduced new techniques to increase the problem of farmers. Three farm bills — the Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill (commonly referred to as the APMC Bypass Bill), and the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Bill — were cleared by Parliament amid protests from the Opposition. On papers all the schemes are good but the ground reality is totally different. I will not explain the bill, I will mention the problems of the bill and why the farmers are protesting.

The Farmers Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill will lead to the closure of existing APMC mandi because for private companies there will be no tax in private mandi, while if they approach APMC they have to pay the tax to the government which will ultimately lead in the closure of APMC, because there is a high cost to maintain APMC. Another problem is small farmers may find it difficult to sell their crops to other states as of transport charge and more than 85% percent of farmers are small which means they have less than 2-hectare land and to survive in private mandi farmer need a strong negotiator.

The contract farming bill will result in the removal of MSP and the government will have no control over it. If the government link MSP with this bill, it will result in favor of farmers.

The essential commodities bill: Unlimited stocking can lead to artificial price fluctuation and low prices for farmers after harvest,

Will the farm bills benefit farmers? Who will gain and who occurs loss?? Isn’t it an injustice to farmers???

Media with mind

Whoever controls the media, controls the mind. The media’s the most powerful entry on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that’s power. Because they control the mind of the masses.
“Everybody wants to be entertained by the news,” says Todd Gitlin, a professor of sociology and journalism in the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University. “Most people want no-problem news, goes-down-easy news, Yahoo! headlines, news that evokes feelings, even if those feelings are feelings of fear.” About Indian electronic media, why are they not able to adequately hold the prime minister or his government to scrutiny. In this pandemic time when GDP recorded in 2nd quater falls to -23.9 And in an era of fake news and low trust in the media, an enfeebled class of journalists could eventually lead to a weakening of the very democracy that defines modern India. From past few months our media is busy in covering young man’s su***de. They are greatly influenced by it. Indirectly we all are responsible for this kinda attitude of media. Most of the people want entertainment, knowledge instead and for the sake of interest of people and revenue for there channel and competition with other channels they have to maintain this ceaseless attitude

Water water everywhere

With so much evidence of depleting natural resources, toxic waste, climate change, irreparable harm to our food chain and rapidly increasing instances of natural disasters, why do we keep perpetuating the problem? Why do we continue marching at the same alarming beat? You might know to whom I am refering in the previous context. We all are aware of it, every year states like Assam, Bihar and Maharashtra are under high alert, risk of flooding.
It is a recurring story of damage and loss: Assam, every year in the last decade, has experienced floods that have led to the loss of human and animal life, destruction of crops, hunger and despair.
The floods batter infrastructure, aggravating the already poor drainage system. The poor are rehabilitated in relief camps with poor health and sanitation facilities. Those who are internally displaced and given temporary shelter in school buildings are left to fend for themselves after the schools reopen.
The cycle of floods and skeletal rehabilitation continues, year after year.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has time to time pitched for inter-linking of rivers in India. PM Modi has said that water is limited for India’s population and there are areas which face floods, there are localities that are dry. PM Modi has said that interlinking of the river can solve the issue. In 2018, PM Modi had said that 17 per cent of the world’s population resides in India, however, India has only four per cent of water. The ambitious project of Inter-Linking of Rivers is the long-cherished dream of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The project comprises 14 rivers in the peninsular region and 16 rivers of Himalayan origin.
This project will connect 60 rivers of India, including river Ganga. Hopefully, with the help of this project, there will be a reduction in the dependence of farmers on uncertain monsoon rains and there will also be millions of cultivated land for irrigation. This project is divided into three parts: North Himalayan river link constituents; Southern Peninsular Component starting from 2005, Interstate interlinking of rivers. This project is being managed under the National Water Development Authority of India (NWDA), Ministry of Water Resources.

Horrible crashes, country has witnessed

Failures save lives, In the airline industry, every time a plane crashes the probability of the next crash is lowered by that. The titanic saved lives because we’re building bigger and bigger ships. So these people died, but we have effectively improved the safety of the system, and nothing failed in vain. There are no. Of plane crashes happened in India I will talk about some. AIR INDIA EXPRESS FLIGHT 812---- On 22 May 2010, a Boeing 737-800 passenger jet operating Air India Express Flight 812 from Dubai to Mangalore, India, crashed on landing at Mangalore. The captain had continued an unstabilized approach, despite three calls from the First Officer to "go around", resulting in the aircraft overshooting the runway, falling down a hillside and bursting into flames. Of the 160 passengers and six crew members on board, 158 were killed (all crew members and 152 passengers) and only eight survived. This was the first fatal accident involving Air India Express.
1996 CHRKHI DADRI MID AIR COLLISION----- On 12 November 1996, Saudi Arabian Airlines Flight 763, a Boeing 747 en route from Delhi, India, to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and Kazakhstan Airlines Flight 1907, an Ilyushin Il-76 en route from Chimkent, Kazakhstan, to Delhi, collided over the village of Charkhi Dadri, around 100 km (62 mi; 54 nmi) west of Delhi. The crash killed all 349 people on board both planes, making it the world's deadliest mid-air collision and the deadliest aviation accident to occur in India.
AIR INDIA FLIGHT 855----Air India Flight 855 was a scheduled passenger flight that crashed during the evening of New Year's Day 1978 about 3 km (1.9 mi; 1.6 nmi) off the coast of Bandra, Bombay (now Mumbai). All 213 passengers and crew on board were killed. The crash is believed to have been caused by the captain having become spatially disoriented after the failure of one of the flight instruments in the cockpit. It was Air India's deadliest aircraft crash until the bombing of Flight 182 in 1985. It was also the deadliest aviation accident in India until the Charkhi Dadri mid-air collision in 1996. As of 2020, Flight 855 is still the second deadliest aircraft crash in both of these categories.

AIR INDIA EXPRESS FLIGHT 1344---- On 7 August 2020, Air India Express Flight 1344, a scheduled international flight from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to Kozhikode, India, skidded off the end of a runway at Calicut International Airport following multiple aborted landing attempts due to heavy tailwinds. The flight was repatriating Indian nationals stranded abroad due to the COVID-19 pandemic as part of the Vande Bharat Mission. The aircraft proceeded to fall into a 9–10.5 m (30–35 ft) gorge, killing 16 passengers and both pilots. The four remaining cabin crew members and 168 passengers survived, of whom over 100 were injured.

Democracy in crisis or planned political crisis

If dogs are governing a country, what can you hear every day other than horrible barking noises? The same is happening in the state of Rajasthan. The fight that was started privately between Sachin Pilot( Deputy CM) and Ashok Gehlot(CM) is now public. To enjoy it you can visit any media channel or you can read the newspaper. Firstly the same incident took place in Madhya Pardesh when Jyotiraditya Scindia joined BJP which results in the collapse of the government. When all the world is suffering from Corona Virus and even Rajasthan has reported more than 35000 cases, the Rajasthan Government is busy in conspiracy with there own party people. It started when the Rajasthan Police sent a notice to Sachin Pilot after they claimed to have stumbled on a plot to topple the Congress government. Then, an upset Pilot, who rebelled against the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot (all the while insisting he wouldn't join the BJP) was removed from the posts of Rajasthan deputy chief minister and state Congress.

And to top it all off, allegations of horse-trading were leveled against Pilot by Gehlot, and those in the rebel camp responded by accusing the chief minister of "deluding the public". Not to mention the public digs that Gehlot took at Pilot (without directly mentioning him), remarking that "being handsome and speaking good English" is not enough. Calling out names like ‘NIKAMMA’ and ‘NAKARRA’ in public. Using such bad names in public to define another is not good. More than 30000 cases had confirmed in Rajasthan so far and the government is busy in blaming each other. People should elect their government wisely as the good government is good politics. Government of the people, by the people, for the people.

Khaki is also a Soldier..respect that..

A soldier stand vigil on a hostile border. He guards for our country and that defined us, enjoying the sleep on warm beds and this is only because of sacrifice by soldiers. The soldiers dies to protect the nation from external threats, so that the internal process of reform and betterment can go unhindered. But do you know who control the internal crimes. They are POLICE.. They also sacrifice their life for the betterment of citizens. Many policeman died during the pandemic of corona virus as they are the frontline warriors. Few days back at a Delhi hospital a COVID-19 patient jumped from the third floor, creating a huge thud sound, followed by chaos. People around saw a person jump from the balcony and landing on a tin shed on the ground floor. The first person they called was the policeman on duty. The man in khaki ran, didn’t care for his safety, took the semi-conscious patient in his arms and ran towards the emergency room. Out of depression, the patient wanted to end his life. The police person, in khaki, saved him with timely help.
No one would know the name of the brave cop nor will he get an award. This, however, is not an exceptional story. Hundreds and thousands of such tiny droplets of godly help are spread all over.
Police sacrifice their life their family for guarding the society against threats, and people should be aware of this. Some people made fun of police, their way to handle the culprits, but do anyone know they have to work under law. Politicians like Akhilesh Yadav made fun of police. On his twitter handle a meme was shared in which he was making fun of Kanpur Police on recent shootout of history sheeter Vikas Dubey. Police sacrifice doesn’t come into light. Police sacrifice is same as the soldier sacrifice as the soldier remove external threats and police remove internal threats so that we can live healthy, happy and freedom life

TRADE WAR vs FRONTLINE WAR

War has catastrophic effect on the health and well being of nations. Studies have shown that there are more mortality and disability than any major disease. Frontline war results in huge destruction that the no. Of death can’t be imagined. World war II, Vietnam war and many war proof the previous statement. War is terrible and beyond the understanding and experience of most people. After the second world war many peace treaty were signed which results in the decrease of frontline wars. But the fight between countries is not the surprising thing. Nowadays countries avoid frontline wars and instead of it they start trade war. A trade war is an economic conflict resulting from extreme protectionism in which states raise or create tariffs against each other in response to trade barriers created by the other party. Increased protection causes both nations output compositions to move toward their autarky position. Anglo-dutch war is the example of trade war. But trade war come in light when last year america and china clashed. President Donald Trump in 2018 began setting tariffs and other trade barriers on china with the goal of forcing it to make changes to what the US says are”Unfair Trade Practices”. The trade war has negatively impacted the economies of both the united states and china. In the United States, it has led to higher prices for consumers and financial difficulties for farmers and manufacturers. In China, economic growth and growth of manufacturing activity have slowed to their lowest rates in decades. The trade war has been criticized internationally. Among American industries, U.S. businesses and agricultural industries have opposed the trade war, though most farmers continued to support Trump, while the U.S. manufacturing industry's response has been mixed. Among U.S. politicians, some have disagreed with the tactics Trump is employing, but most agree with the goal of putting pressure on China. India gained about $755 million in additional exports, mainly of chemicals, metals and ore, to the US in the first half of 2019 due to trade diversion effects of washington’s tariff war with china, a study by the UN trade and investment body has said. It also helped other countries such as Korea, Canada. Though the trade diversion was small but still substantial.

Do we need FAIR to be LOVELY

A girl named “Wish” is been called “black” and this is because she is dark-skinned girl from India. Her father is dark-skinned while her mother is fair. So from there she get this dark complexions. She was made to believe that she is not good enough because of her complexion. Even her family member made jokes about her. Is it right to made jokes on her or dislike her just because of her dark complexion or changing her name to black? Most Indians show apparent ignorance about the practise of discrimination based on the skin tone of a person although its a problematic practise enfold both by both oppressor and the victim. This problem has become universal in different parts of India. India among the oldest civilizations of the world do not discriminate on the basis of color of the skin. India have variety of colors and the facial features depending on the geographical area to which they belong. North-east have diffrent skin tone, people of south have different color of there skin, but the most important thing is that we are Indians. Color doesn’t matter, its the behaviour that defines the person. Some of the people are fooling people by selling there “GORA KARNA WALI CREAM”. Indian celebrities who have endorsed fairnes cream are now speaking up about black live matter(the anti racism protest that took place in america after the death of George floyd by american cops). After the incident of black live matter HUL has decided to rename there fair&lovely cream by removing fair form it because its not only fair that’s lovely. The one thing our precious Bollywood celebrities are best at doing is not actually acting but being a hypocrite. There are many bollywood celebrities like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bipasha Basu, Manoj Bajpai who earlier faced racism and colourism. Nawazuddin in his tweet show resentment towards bollywood industry. In his tweet he said “You will never get a chance(to act). And you aren’t capable of doing it either. You don’t have the image; you don’t have the talent

Is social media a solution for young people to cope with lockdown?

Researchers conducted the survey about the mental health of people during crisis and it was found that it is the most challenging time since second world war, because there is major disruption in there routine, education, and social and economic lives. The recent lockdown may prove daunting in our psychological well being, due to lack of social mingling, outdoor and office routine. Over 300 cases of su***de had been reported during nationwide lockdown and this is due to the loneliness as they are not allowed to move anywhere. According to the data, 80 people killed themselves due to loneliness and fear of being tested positive for the virus. The su***des are followed by migrants dying in accidents on their way back home (51), deaths associated with withdrawal symptoms (45), and those related to starvation and financial distress (36). Social media is a cure to loneliness as many famous celebrities and normal people across the globe are sharing motivational posts on social media platforms to help people remain positive and inspired during the pandemic. E learning nd our country

Online education is becoming more and more popular among students around the world. e-Learning or online education is the new normal. In future, we will see the proliferation of information technology tools and gadgets, post-COVID-19. But internet and broadband will remain an issue. According to Rajan S Mathews, DG, the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), post COVID-19, there will be a surge in online education by schools and colleges in the country. "The telecom industry is fully prepared with 99.9 per cent network capacity. The telecom companies have taken appropriate measures to meet the surge in traffic due to online education and other online activities using telecom infrastructure," said Mathews. Well in terms of online education the ratio of pros and cons is 1:3. In the era of online education one of the biggest problem is lack of social interaction. This is especially relevant for young undergraduates who should be making friends and having a great time. University is important for your career, but don’t forget that you will meet friends at uni that will last you a lifetime. The internet is an emerging phenomenon; it is still in the infant stage of its development and so it should be of no surprise that there are some shortcomings to an online education. Courses that required hands-on experience, such as Neurology or Chemistry, are simply unsuited to online education. Most importantly it is affecting the mental and physical health of students. Virtual learning has inevitably increased the amount of time students spend on digital devices everyday

Social media and our lives making better or worse

Facebook, twitter are the example of social networking sites.Social networking was started on the internet in the form of generalized online communities to group the people having same interests and to share their ideas. By 2016 45% of the world’s internet users are on social networking sites. But the question arises that is social media a boon or bane? Let us first discuss about the positive sides of social media. We can keep in touch with our friends. We can improve ourselves by sharing our ideas. We can study on social media as teacher made the group of students where they can discuss the topics with each other. There are various job opportunities on social media like linkedin helps employee and company connecting each other. There are many benefits of social media but there is also darker side of it as people compare there life with others which creates the feeling of hatred among them. Privacy and addiction is another drawback of social media. Mental health of people are affecting because of SNS. High risk of cyber stalking is also the drawback of SNS. One of the biggest disadvantage is accidents. There are many examples and one of such was on 15oct 2011 when a group of 3 friends take selfie with train and suddenly met with an accident. There are advantage as well as disadvantages of SNS. Using it in proper way can help us a lot as it can help people in earning money. But we should not disclose too much personal information because its risky. Life will be great, if we spend less time on social networking sites and more time in the real world.
