J&K Gymnastic Championships (2024-25) was held from 27-29 Dec, 2025.
First ever time eight Districts of J&K represented their districts with a large number of Gymnasts.

Gymnastics Federation of India nominates 13 members contingent for World Championships in Pesaro-ITALY.

Indian Contingent led by Er.Kiran Wattal as Head of Delegation reaches Pesaro- Italy to participate in the 18th FIG Aerobic Gymnastics championships starting from 27-29 September, 2024.

Er. Kiran Wattal, Vice President of Gymnastics Federation of India & President Gymnastics Association of J&K Congratulated to all selected Gymnasts, their Coaches.& their Parents of the Gymnasts for their selection in the Indian Squad.

Wattal mentioned that under the able guidance of the President Gymnastics Federation of India, Sudhir Mittal (IAS Retd.), the GFI has achieved new heights as the Indian Gymnastics come up in their ranking standards at International arena.
In last edition of Women Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships, star Gymnastics Deepa Karmarkar made India proud by winning first ever time Gold medal in Asian Chamionships & In Aerobic Asian Championships Ruddrakash & Ariha played in finals & secured 5th Position.

Wattal also thanked the J&K administration under the leadership of Hon'ble LG Sh.Manoj Sinha for providing Gymnastics Academy equipped with world class infrastructure in Jammu & the unending support & assistance being provided by J&K Govt specially Secratary Sports Council Nuzhat Gul & Sarmad Hafeez secretary Sports & youth services, is paying off as our J&K Gymnasts are able to get highest medals for J&K in the various National Games, Khelo India Games & have represented the Country from time to time.Recently to promote Gymnastics in Valley, he also thanked Sh Manoj Sinha ji hon' able L G for his overwhelming support & interaction with elite lndian Gymnasts at Raj Bhawan during concluding day of Coaching Camp having National significance which was conducted by J&K sports council under your patronage being president where foreign expert was also engaged to train these campers. This types of initiatives surely enhance the level of the performance of Sports & Games at international Championships.

Successful conduct of megha event at MA Stadium made all of us proud.
National Aerobic Gymnastics held at Gymnastics Academy, M A Stadium, Jammu from 22-24 March, 2024. Around 450 participants as Players & officials from all over the Country appericiated the arrangements made by officials of GAJK including Meals, Accommodation & Field of Play as Competition Venue.
The Gymnastics Association of J&K could made all arrangements in a record time in collaboration with J&K Sports Council & working of Association members in right time & direction.
Gymnasts of J&K performed good & clinched record medals including 1 Gold, 5 Silver & 3 Bronze Medal.
The Indian teams for Suzuki World Cup & Asian Championahips was also selected during this championships.
Gymnastics Association of J&K headed by Er. Kiran Wattal who is also vice president GFI along with other office bearers of the Gymnastics Association Rajan Sharma, Anil Khajuria, Tejinder Singh, Sunil Sharma & Many former J&K gymnasts Manvinder, Kamal Singh, Honey Mehra, Inderdeep Singh, Parul Mehra, Manpreet Kaur, Ruhi Saadria, Natha Singh & others worked all together day & night & this Championships a great success.
Role of Ms Nuzhat Gul Secretary J&K sports council was also louded for the timely support to this Association for organising this Championships.
He also thanked the Incharge of the Gymnastics Academy Ms, Krupali Patel Singh for making necessary Technicl arrangement required to organise the championship.
President also thanked the J&K administration under the guidance of Hon'ble LG Sh. Manoj Sinha has always supported for conducting this type of Mega events in J&K.
The Association also thanked the Gymnastics Federation of India for allotment of this event to J&K & further appointing the International & National qualified Judges for evaluating the performances of Gymnasts during this Championships. The Technical conduct of this Championships was held under the technical supervision of S.P. Singh who was appointed by Gymnastics Federation of India as compitition Director of this Championships.

A honour for J&K as Sh. Kiran Wattal Vice President GFI & of President Gymnastics Association of J&K was invited as Chief Guest & distributed the prizes to the medal winners during ongoing 37th National Games 2023 at Goa
