Rope Skipping Association of Jammu & Kashmir

Rope Skipping Association of Jammu & Kashmir successfully concluded the J&K Rope Skipping Gold Cup 2026 ( Interschool Championship ) at JP World School with grand participation of around 500 athletes from 35 schools across Jammu & Kashmir. The championship was organised by the Rope Skipping Association of J&K and hosted by JP World School, Jammu.

During the valedictory function, Sh. Dushyant Sharma - Commandant , IR 15th Battalion as well as President J&K Olympic Association attended as the Chief Guest and appreciated the efforts being made to promote Rope Skipping in the region.

Guests of Honour included Sankalp Kamal - Managing Director - JK Public School , Kathua , Manjit Singh- Chairman - Kalarippayattu Association of J&K , Neetu Bali - Founder Sunder Gems & Jewels , KC S Mehta - Working President Rope Skipping Association of J&K and Panna Manhas Choudhary - Chairperson - JP World School

Special Guests present were Vinay Khajuria - Principal IDPS Akhnoor , Aparana Kohli Principal - JP World School , Ashutosh Sharma - Secretary Kreeda Bharti J&K , Harmohinder Singh Dysp J&K Police , TP Singh - Eminent Sports Person and Tarsem Sharma - Treasurer RSFI & Member J&K Olympic Association .

In the overall championship standings, International Delhi Public School Akhnoor emerged as the Overall Winner and received a cash prize of ₹10,000. Vishwa Bharti School secured the 1st Runner-Up position with ₹7,500 cash prize, while Shangrilla Public School claimed the 2nd RunnerUp title with ₹5,000 cash prize.

The Top 5 Best Skippers — Kanika Sharma, Kartik Saini, Aditya Morya Singh Jamwal, Prince Mehra and Harsh Kumar — were honoured with cash prizes and mementos for their outstanding performances also Two star skippers Kaashvi Gupta & Krish Mehra were also awarded with mementoes.
