Greetings from Training & Placement Cell, NIT Jamshedpur!
We are elated to inform that the placement session for the 2020-21 batch has come to an end after a successful session which embarked new heights and all our past records have been broken.
Even during these unprecedented times of COVID-19, we are delighted to share that out of 502 eligible and interested candidates, 460 have been able to grab job offers with a total placement percentage of 91.6%. With an average CTC of 9.38 lpa and the highest package offered of 37.5lpa we have improved upon from our past year records considerably.
We managed to add 50+ new recruiters for the session and managed to retain almost all our past recruiters. We had 191 firms that visited our institute virtually.
The Training & Placement Cell takes this opportunity to express it's gratitude to all the Recruiters who allowed our students to be a part of their recruitment drive and our Alumni for being a constant pillar of support. And would also like to appreciate the team of Student Coordinators who worked day and night to achieve this feat.
We are hopeful that we are able to maintain the positive synergy built with various organisations in the years to come and that the placement session for the upcoming batch to achieve greater heights.
