9th Odisha State Singa, Macan, Pre-Teen, Pre-Junior & Junior Pencak Silat Championship 2026-27

📍 Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium, Khordha, Odisha

The Pencak Silat Association Odisha (PSAO) proudly announces the successful conclusion of the 9th Odisha State Singa, Macan, Pre-Teen, Pre-Junior & Junior Pencak Silat Championship 2026-27, hosted by Pencak Silat Association Khordha.

🥋 Around 600 boys and girls from 17 districts of Odisha participated in the championship, displaying outstanding skill, discipline, determination, and the true spirit of Pencak Silat.

🌟 The championship also served as the Official Selection Trial for the Odisha Pencak Silat Team that will represent the state at the 14th Singa, Macan, Pre-Teen, Pre-Junior & Junior National Pencak Silat Championship 2026 in Nashik, Maharashtra.

👏 The event was successfully conducted with the dedicated efforts of 50 referees and technical officials, ensuring fairness and excellence throughout the competition.

🥇 Champion – Jharsuguda
🥈 1st Runner-Up – Khordha
🥉 2nd Runner-Up – Sundargarh
🏅 3rd Runner-Up – Mayurbhanj

🎖️ The Closing Ceremony was graced by Shri Shailendra Kumar Jena (Additional Secretary, Government of Odisha), Shri Amit Nayak (Deputy Secretary, Department of Sports & Youth Services, Government of Odisha), and Smt. Khasyanprava Mohanty (Sports Officer, Department of Sports & Youth Services, Government of Odisha).

The ceremony was also attended by Shri Tapas Kumar Roy Choudhury (President, PSAO), Guru Prem Singh Thapa (General Secretary, PSAO), Smt. Suman Modi (Chief Advisor, PSAO), and Shri Jitendra Kumar Rout (District Secretary, Khordha), who felicitated the winners and encouraged the young athletes.

🙏 PSAO extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Department of Sports & Youth Services, Government of Odisha, all District Associations, athletes, coaches, referees, technical officials, volunteers, parents, supporters, and well-wishers for making this championship a grand success.

✨ Opening Ceremony Successfully Completed ✨
The Opening Ceremony of the 9th Odisha State Singa, Macan, Pre-Teen & Pre-Junior Pencak Silat Championship 2026–27 was successfully held at Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium, Khordha on 11–13 June 2026.

The championship was officially inaugurated by the Hon'ble MLA of Khordha Shri Prasant Jagdev who inspired the young athletes and appreciated the continuous efforts towards the growth of Pencak Silat in Odisha.
