Phaitol FC (PFC), also known as Phaitol Youth Club(Parent Body) won the region’s biggest local championship organized by the Social Welfare Club, Mulargaon Jiribam, Manipur.
The grand final took place on 4 May 2026 at Mulargaon Football Stadium (stadium name may be approximate). Despite strong winds and a stadium full of tens of thousands of PFC supporters, the game was competitive only until the 30th minute. PFC’s young striker Joseph opened the scoring with a stunning goal into the right corner.
Phaitol FC went on to win 6–0 — one of their largest victories in a major tournament. Joseph completed a hat-trick, and several other teammates added goals as PFC dominated the match.

Captain Khuppol led a rock-solid defense. Goalkeeper JRB Ngamboi was outstanding between the posts, making crucial saves that helped secure the clean sheet. PR7, the most experienced Striker was given playmaking role by the Coaching team to played a deeper creative role and provided multiple assists; his selfless performance was noticed and appreciated by the fans.
With this convincing win, Phaitol FC rises higher in local football and will surely attract more attention from clubs across Tamenglong, Jiribam, and Mizoram.
