The celebration of Sri Krishna Janmashtami marks Triumph of Dharma over Adharma.
Krishna's birth represents the restoration of Dharma whenever righteousness is threatened. In today's world, this message reminds us to stand against injustice, dishonesty, violence and intolerance, and to uphold truth and ethical responsibility.
Moreover it is a message of hope in difficult times for the society, as Sri
Krishna was born in a period of oppression and fear. His story teaches society that darkness is never permanent and that courage, faith and righteous action can bring transformation.
Samskar Bharati Dakshin 24 parganas district and Kalajyoti - The Odissi Gurukul, in Rajpur,

celebrated Janmashtami at Kalajyoti with immense joy and devotion, bringing together our tiny tots, young and veteran students.
The children listened wide-eyed to the enchanting stories of Little Krishna, beautifully narrated by Sri Amitava Mukherjee, followed by delightful short Abhinaya presentations by our students.
Our humble endeavour is to keep the younger generation connected to our rich spiritual and cultural heritage through dance, storytelling and devotion.

এ এক ঘোর কলিযুগ, যেখানে শিষ্যরা বিন্দুমাত্র অপরাধবোধ ছাড়াই সেই ছাত্রছাত্রীদের নিজেদের দিকে টেনে নিয়ে যায়, যাদের গুরু বছরের পর বছর অক্লান্ত পরিশ্রম, ধৈর্য ও নিষ্ঠার সঙ্গে একেবারে ভিত্তি থেকে গড়ে তুলেছেন। এমন এক সময়, যেখানে অর্ধশিক্ষিত বহু উঠতি নৃত্যশিল্পীর মধ্যে নিজেকে “গুরু” হিসেবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করার এক অদ্ভুত প্রতিযোগিতা চলছে, অথচ তারা আমাদের প্রাচীন সংস্কৃত স্তোত্রের অর্থ কিংবা তার অন্তর্নিহিত দর্শন ব্যাখ্যা করতেও অক্ষম।
আরও বেদনাদায়ক হল, বহু উচ্চশিক্ষিত মানুষও আজ গুরু-শিষ্য পরম্পরার প্রকৃত মর্ম ভুলে গেছেন। গুরুর সুসময় ও দুঃসময়ে তাঁর পাশে পাথরের মতো অটল হয়ে দাঁড়ানোর পরিবর্তে, ব্যক্তিগত স্বার্থে এক স্থান থেকে অন্য স্থানে ছুটে বেড়ানোই যেন স্বাভাবিক হয়ে উঠেছে।
আমি পরমেশ্বরের কাছে কৃতজ্ঞ যে, আমি এই মানসিকতার অংশ নই। জীবনের প্রতিটি কঠিন ও সুন্দর মুহূর্তে আমি আন্তরিকতা ও নিষ্ঠার সঙ্গে আমার গুরুদের পাশে থাকতে পেরেছি। অসংখ্য মূল্যবান সময় কাটিয়েছি তাঁদের সঙ্গে, শুনেছি গীতগোবিন্দের গভীর ব্যাখ্যা। তাঁদের কাছ থেকে শুধু নৃত্য নয়, দর্শন, আধ্যাত্মিকতা, শৃঙ্খলা ও বিনয়ের শিক্ষাও লাভ করেছি।
আজ আমি তাঁদের আশীর্বাদ, দিকনির্দেশ ও জ্ঞানের আলোয় আনন্দ ও কৃতজ্ঞতায় জীবন কাটাই। এটাই আমার জীবনের সবচেয়ে বড় প্রাপ্তি।

Students trained in-house in natural surroundings on Dance, Vocal, Percussion, Sanskrit Language, Yoga, and Aesthetics irrespective of Creed, Caste or Religion .

The grand finale of Kalajyoti Mahotsav 2025-26 commenced with grandeur on 27.3.2026, featuring exceptional performances by talented and veteran artists. Guests of honor graced the occasion with their esteemed presence and insightful remarks, inspiring the audience. Kalajyoti was honored by the presence of Smt. Nilanjana Roy, Dr. Haimanti Chattopadhyay, Prof. Om Prakash Bharti, and Sri Indrajit Basu, who enthralled the listeners with a melodious charm, accompanied by Sri Sohon Ghosh on Tabla. We continue our journey today, on the 2nd day of Mahotsav, eagerly anticipating performances by emerging talents and veterans. Please join us and extend your blessings to the performers. 🙏

ঋকবেদের কিশোরী কন্যা বাক। অম্ভৃন ঋষির কন্যা।তার সগর্ব উচ্চারন অহং রুদ্রেভি বসুভিশ্চরাম্যহম। আমি রুদ্র আমি বসু আমি আদিত্য আমি শ্রেষ্ঠা। আমিই সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠা। তার আরো বক্তব্য আমার শক্তিতেই জগতের শক্তি।
ঠিক তার পরবর্তীকাল। পুরুষরা হেরে গেলেন। এগিয়ে এলো নারী। নাম দুর্গা। ত্বম হি দুর্গা দশপ্রহরনধারিনী।
অবশেষে অসুর বধ। তারপর
ইয়া দেবী সর্বভূতেষু মাতৃরূপেন সংস্থিতা, ইয়া দেবী সর্বভূতেষু লক্ষী রুপেন সংস্থিতা।
দ্রোপদীর অপমানে মুখ খুলেছিলেন ধৃতরাস্ট্র। সেই বিখ্যাত শ্লোক। নাথবতীঅনাথবৎ। যেখানে নারীর অপমান সেখানে জয় অসম্ভব। আর ধৃতরাষ্ট্র মানে যিনি শুধু রাষ্ট্র ধারন করেন। শাসন করতে ব্যর্থ।

এটাই ভারতীয় সংস্কৃতি। এটাই বাঙালি সংস্কৃতি।
নারী শক্তির জাগরণ হোক। একশোবার হোক। হাজার বার হোক।।
কিন্তু তা ভারতীয় ভাবনা আর পরম্পরা মেনে হোক। নারীর জাগরন হোক দেবী রূপে । কারো শষ্যক্ষেত্র রূপে নয়।
