They say older people should not lift weights, as it may be very taxing for their joints. But the fact is opposite.
Strength Training actually strengthen the joints of Older Adult if done properly. Moreover muscles have Proprioceptors, which helps to maintain balance in the body, Strength
training also prevent from Atrophy which is loosing of muscle and strength.
In old ages most of the people die due to fall and slip. When somebody has more muscle then they will have more Proprioceptors which prevent them from fall and slip.
There are also other benefits too:
Reduce the symptoms of osteoarthritis, diabetes, osteoporosis, back pain, and depression.
Help you manage your weight.
Help you sleep better.
Improve glucose control.
Increase metabolism.
Reduces risk of cancer, heart disease.
So old people please start lifting weights properly and don't get hurt. Improvement doesn't come in a day, it takes time.
Do 3 sets of exercise for each muscle group for 3 days a week, with Rep range between 8 - 12. Gradually increase the Weight, Sets and reduce the Reps.

The hormone which dominates women is Estrogen and this hormone makes women look feminine. This is the women s*x hormone. The hormone which dominates male are Testosterone and this hormone makes men look more muscular. This is male s*x hormone.
Lifting heavy weights not only help women to loose fat but also help to build more strength. It reduces the risk of injury, back pain, arthritis, heart disease, diabetes and many other diseases. So women all of you start doing good strength training. It can be started at any age. The earlier you start the better it will be. Along with that good diet, proper sleep and hydration is also required.
