RAW Adventures is on RAW Trips. 6 Riders are making to Himachal Pradesh. Will be exploring the middle land of India and we will be sharing the best parts of it. Riders will be exploring different terrains, different weather conditions and the beauty of the Spiti Valley.

The **Kawasaki Versys X 300** is certainly an intriguing option in the entry-level ADV segment, especially with its updated colors and that parallel-twin smoothness. Here’s a quick take in comparison:

**Pros of Versys X 300:**

* **Parallel-twin refinement:** Much smoother than the single-cylinder KTM and Himalayan.
* **High-revving nature:** Fun for riders who enjoy rev-happy engines.
* **Kawasaki reliability & finish.**

**Versus KTM 390 Adventure:**

* The KTM has more tech (TFT, ride modes, quickshifter on SW variant).
* Better torque (37Nm vs 25.7Nm) and more aggressive dynamics.
* But the Versys may feel more planted and refined on long rides.

**Versus Himalayan 450:**

* The Himalayan has modern features (TFT, ride-by-wire, liquid cooling).
* Much more torque (40Nm), better off-road chops.
* But heavier and possibly not as refined at high RPMs.

**Would I pick it?**
If you're after **refinement, smooth highway cruising**, and Kawasaki’s after-sales support is strong in your region—**yes, it's a great pick.**
But for **tech, torque, or off-road ruggedness**, the 390 Adventure or Himalayan 450 might edge ahead.
