42.195 KM. ~500 M ELEVATION GAIN. ONE RELENTLESS BATTLE. 🏃‍♂️🔥

Humbled to have completed the NMDC Hyderabad Marathon — the most prestigious and one of the toughest road marathons in India. 🇮🇳

Run at an elevation of around 700 metres above sea level, the course was a relentless rolling battle of climbs and descents, with nearly 500 metres of elevation gain and an uphill challenge that continued right till the very end.

When the legs said stop, the mind said KEEP GOING.

This wasn’t just 42.195 km.
It was discipline over discomfort, mind over matter and courage over fatigue.
The early miles were about confidence.
The middle miles were about endurance.
The finish line wasn’t given. It was earned. 🏅

NMDC Hyderabad Marathon — DONE! ✅

One more finish line conquered.
One more promise kept to myself.

It's extremely heartening to announce that The International Full-contact Friendship Karate Federation has appointed our leader Shihan Sankhadeb Bhattacharya as an International Director in conjunction with his existing position as the Chairman of Asia. 🙏🏻

The current position will witness his involvement in administrative duties on a global scale, primarily to inculcate the doctrines, ideologies and methodologies of IFFKF and it's core ethos. What an exciting start to the running season in Kolkata! 🎊

Endurance Sports Endurance Sports led by Race Director Rahul Airan is always renowned for organising cracking events in Kolkata and this year's lived up to the billing. 🔥

A bright morning showed the day for a crackerjack of an outing for over 1000 running enthusiasts from across the city. Auralyfe - Fitness and Wellness Centrum were overjoyed to have been a part of the bonanza. The route, on-route support, the warm up and cool down Zumba, the giveaways and especially the addition of Mr. Gorilla gave the show a pompous sheen. ❤️

Our leader Shihan Sankhadeb Bhattacharya finished on the podium proving that perseverance, determination and resilience always pay whether you're a karateka or a runner. Senpai Subhojit had an outstanding run finishing yet again in the Top 10 in his category. Sensei Sneha and little Senpai Jahnavi running in her first ever 5km timed-run completed their respective runs hand in hand proving their mettle. 💪🏻

Yet another success story for Auralyfe. 😎

Just thought of sharing with you all some beautiful moments that Team Auralyfe - Fitness and Wellness Centrum Auralyfe - Fitness & Wellness Centrum experienced yesterday (19-Jul-2026). ❤️

Competing against the champions of all the leading states in India, we won the coveted "Champion Team of the Year" award at The 4th APJ Abdul Kalam Inter School and Senior National Karate Championship 2026. This award crowns us as the best karate school in India, a dream which every team, every school, every academy that practices karate aspires to achieve. 🙏🏻

It's interesting to note that each of our students finished on the podium in the kumite (combat) categories while playing under semi contact rules which are absolutely on the opposite end of the spectrum as compared to what we usually practice (full contact). This is a testament to their dedication to adapt and overcome when the odds are stacked against you. 😎

Session 1 : Marathon Preparation

Day 3 opened with Coach Savar Hirjee conducting a structured marathon preparation cm training session. Students engaged in dynamic warm-ups, technical drills, focussed practice and concluded with yoga-based recovery, cool down and stretching exercises.

Over three days, all of our participants demonstrated commitment, discipline and measurable growth — blending fitness, skill development and mindfulness.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all students, parents, affiliates and Coach Savar Hirjee for contributing to a extremely successful and highly enriching camp experience.
