N R I T Y A M being established in the year 2011, is a premier cultural place , dedicated to promotion and propagation of “Odissi” . N R I T Y A M symbolizes the humble offering of the classicism of Odissi dance, music & percussion to our rich national ethos. Regular dance classes for local students and special classes are augmented by Summer Workshops, performances and new choreography and music creation. Recently N R I T Y A M has also added a new wing for Creative Dance. Neeladyuti Chaudhury, follower and disciple of Padmabibhushan Guru Sri Kelucharan Mahapatra founded, her own Odissi dance school –N R I T Y A M – at Kolkata, West Bengal. Neeladyuti’s rigorous teaching method in N R I T Y A M has been faithfully imparting knowledge & techniques of the Odissi dance heritage to her students

“Odissi Jyoti”,Scholarship holder of Creative dance Neeladyuti Chaudhury,a B.Tech Graduate in Engineering has been dancing since early childhood and has mastered the Odissi style of Indian Classical dance. She is devoted, talented and the aspiring disciple of the legendary Guru Sri Kelucharan Mohapatra. An artistic environment and encouragement from her parents made Neeladyuti interested in dance. Neeladyuti started her career in dance by taking talems in Kathak and creative Dance from her mother,Lipi Chaudhury at a very young age. After that she stepped into the world of Odissi Dance. She has completed more than twenty years of extended training in Odissi Dance. She has been a devotee of this art form for the past twenty years during which she has performed extensively representing it at the national front.She started her contour in odissi dance under the able tutelage of Smt.Dipanwita Roy. Later she was groomed by Guru Smt Poushali Mukherjee for long eight years. At present she is continuing her Odissi dancing career under the able tutelage of her Guru Sri Rajib Bhattacharya under whose tutelage Neeladyuti gained extended knowledge and training on this dance form . She attended several workshops all over India from Guru Kelucharan Mahapatra ,Guru Ratikanta Mahapatra , Smt. Sujata Mahapatra & Smt Madhulita Mahapatra.She has visited “Nrityantar” in Bangalore and has attended a vigorous workshop and training under Smt Madhulita Mahapatra. Neeladyuti was associated with Nrityantar,Kormangala Branch,Bangalore and used to take classes there regularly. Neeladyuti is presently associated with “Srijan Chhanda” for regular basis classes,training,workshops and performances. Now she is working with N R I T Y A M. • Awarded for securing 1st position in ‘SUR TAAL’ dance competition (Odissi classical) organized by Alpha TV Bangla in year 2003
• Scholarship holder of Creative Dance from ‘SARBABHARATIYA SANGEET-O-SANSKRITI PARISHAD’,Kolkata
• Secured 3rd position in ODISSI dance of CALCUTTA FESTIVAL,organized by ‘SANSKRITI-KALA-SANGAM’,Kolkata
• Awarded for securing 1st position in ODISSI dance in Sanjukta Panigrahi memorial dance competition,2010 from ‘Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture’,Kolkata

Classes and workshops
1. N R I T Y A M aims at grooming dancers to be professional performers with mental alertness and physical fitness.
2. Students are trained impartially with great care.
3. Students are given opportunity to see video recorded performances of renowned Odissi dancers to enhance their own perceptions as dancers.
5. Workshops are conducted twice in a year during vacations where special items are taught to aspiring students. Admission is taken throughout the year.
2. Minimum age for admission : 3years. Admission is done based on age groups.(Group A & Group B)
3. During admission, the Admission Fee together with First Month Fee has to be cleared.

Fee Entry Card:
1. Fee Entry Card must be brought at the time of payment of fees. No coaching fee shall be received without the card.
2. This Card should always be kept in safe custody of the candidate.
3. In case of loss of this Card , a duplicate shall be issued on payment of Rs.100/. The Coaching Fee is to be paid on any working day before the 10th day of each calender month.
2. Late Fine @ Rs.100/-will be charged after the 10th of every month.
3. All payments are taken only in Cash. Exact amount is to be paid.
4. Failure of payment of Coaching Fee for consecutive two months will cause removal of the name of the candidate from the rolls. In that case, the candidate shall be readmitted only on payment of Re-admission Fee.
5. Change in the batch of the candidate will charge extra Fee of Rs.200. Classes & Workshops:
1. Candidate may choose any alternative class timing in the beginning.
2. Interested candidates may enroll themselves for both the class timings. Fees shall be charged accordingly.
3. Workshops are compulsory. Minimum eligibility – 2 years training.
4. Students are advised to wear their proper uniforms(salwar-kameez) during class timings.
