All India Odissi Dance Competition 2026
(Dedicated to the memory of Odissi Dance Guru Shri Giridhari Nayak)
Organizer: Sarbhabaratya Sanskritik Federation (All India Cultural Federation)
(Authorized by the Government of India)
• Subject/Category: Solo Odissi Dance
• Age Group: General (Above 16 years)
• Eligibility: Both male and female participants can apply.
Competition Structure
The competition will be conducted in two stages — Online and Offline.
Stage 1 – Online Competition
• Participants must submit a video of their Odissi dance performance wearing proper dance attire (costume) and makeup.
• Maximum Duration: 10 minutes.
• Results: The results of the first stage will be announced on August 31, 2026.
• An esteemed panel of judges will select the top 10 contestants through online evaluation. Only the selected contestants will qualify for the second stage.
Stage 2 – Grand Finale Stage Performance (Kolkata)
• Date & Time: September 19, 2026, between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM (The exact slot/timing will be informed 7 days in advance).
• Maximum Performance Duration: 7 minutes.
• The finalists will perform live in front of the judges, and the winners will be awarded the following prizes.
Awards & Prizes
• 1st Prize: ₹15,000, Certificate, and Memento.
• 2nd Prize: ₹10,000, Certificate, and Memento.
• 3rd Prize: ₹5,000, Certificate, and Memento.
Special Honor: The top three winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions) will be honored with the prestigious "Guru Shri Giridhari Nayak Memorial Award".
Grand Finale & Award Ceremony Venue
• Date: September 19, 2026
• Venue: Rathindra Mancha (Jorasanko Thakurbari), Kolkata.
• Time: 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

• Last Date for Registration: July 20, 2026
• Registration Fee: ₹500
• Certificates: All participants will receive a Certificate of Appreciation. To collect the certificate, participants can either visit the organization's office or call the contact number provided below to collect it from a designated location. Alternatively, it can be sent as a document via WhatsApp.
• Final Verdict: The decision of the judges will be final and binding on all.
