Aavhan IIT Bombay presents to you, *Aavhan Online Open Chess Tournament* on the *International Chess Day 2020!*

Platform: chess.com
*Date: 20th July 2020*
Time Control: 3 minutes + 1 second increment
Format: Swiss Format, 13 rounds
Time: Round 1 starts sharp at 7 pm (Late-joiners not allowed)

Participants need to be ready at least 15 minutes before the start of 1st Round (i.e. 6:45 pm)
Link of the online tournament will be shared with the participants on registering

Entry fee: 200 INR
Last date of registration: 18th July 2020

*All Participants will be given E-Certificates from Aavhan IIT Bombay and Chess.com*

Unrated players:

Players with rating between 1200-1399:
1st prize: 1000 INR

Players with rating between 1400-1599:
1st prize: 1000 INR
2nd prize: 750 INR
3rd prize: 500 INR

Players with rating between 1600-1799:
1st prize: 1000 INR
2nd prize: 750 INR
3rd prize: 500 INR

Best woman player (above 15 years) :
1st prize: 1000 INR
2nd prize: 600 INR

Best Veteran player (above 55 years) :
1st prize: 1000 INR
2nd prize: 600 INR

*Tie Breaks will be decided based on SB scores of participants*

*Top 3 players from U-16, U-14 will be given 2-month chess.com diamond subscriptions and a free coaching session by GM Pravin Thipsay*

*Top 3 players from U-12 and U-10 categories will be given 1-month chesskid.com subscription*
