A Member of the International Bar Association headquartered in the USA. His vision: a top cricket academy for aspiring talents. It all began with the vision of Abdul Masood, a former First Class cricketer and qualified cricket coach from the United Kingdom and India, who is additionally, a qualified Advocate at the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta, of establishing a Cricket Academy. He dreamed of a state of the art facility, that would provide high performance cricket coaching, to not only cricketers from Bengal, but also to those of other states and from other nations as well.

What does it really mean for a young cricketer to experience the game in England? 🇬🇧🏏

It means stepping beyond the familiar.

It means playing in different conditions, adapting to new surroundings, experiencing English cricket culture, competing on new grounds, building friendships, developing independence—and discovering a different dimension of the game.

The CCA England Tour 2026 was not simply a cricket tour.

It was a journey of cricket, competition, exposure, discipline, friendship, travel and personal growth.

And now, the journey continues.

🇬🇧 CCA ENGLAND TOUR 2027
Our 10th England Tour is coming in May–June 2027.

For young Indian cricketers who dream of playing cricket in England, experiencing English cricket conditions, gaining international cricket exposure, developing their game beyond India and being part of a genuine overseas cricket experience, this could be the beginning of something special.

At Calcutta Cricket Academy, we believe cricket development is not confined to the boundaries of a training ground.

Sometimes, the biggest lessons come from going somewhere new.

🏏 Play.
🌍 Experience.
🤝 Compete.
📈 Develop.
🇬🇧 Grow.

Your game. A new country. A new perspective.

🏏 WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON TODAY?

A good practice session doesn’t have to fix everything.

Maybe today is about footwork.
Maybe it’s shot selection.
Maybe it’s bowling accuracy.
Maybe it’s fielding movement.

The important question is:

Do you know what you’re working on — and why?

When the focus is clear, every drill has more meaning and every repetition has a purpose.

One session. One focus. One more step forward.

That’s the idea behind purposeful practice at Calcutta Cricket Academy.

🏏 REPETITION IS NOT THE GOAL.

Imagine a young cricketer practising the same shot 50 times.

Now ask:

Did the 50th attempt become better than the first?

That’s where purposeful coaching matters.

Sometimes the player doesn’t need another 50 repetitions.

They need one good observation.
One useful correction.
And then another 50 repetitions — done differently.

That’s how practice starts becoming development.

At Calcutta Cricket Academy, we want every session to have a reason behind it.

Observe. Correct. Repeat. Improve.

🏏 DON’T JUST COUNT THE HOURS. COUNT THE IMPROVEMENT.

More time at the ground doesn’t automatically mean better cricket.

The difference is what you do with that time.

What are you working on?
What are you correcting?
What are you repeating?
What are you learning?

Because every session should move your game forward.

At Calcutta Cricket Academy, we believe practice should have a purpose — and every repetition should have a reason.

Practise with purpose. Learn with intent. Improve with consistency.

🏏 TALENT NEEDS PRACTICE. PRACTICE NEEDS GUIDANCE.

A young cricketer can repeat the same movement a hundred times.

But the right guidance can help them understand what to work on, what to correct and how to improve.

At Calcutta Cricket Academy, coaching is about purposeful practice — observing the player, working on the fundamentals, making corrections and building better cricket habits.

OBSERVE. CORRECT. DEVELOP.

For parents, the question isn’t just “Where will my child practise?”

It’s also:

“Who will guide them while they practise?”

If your young cricketer loves the game and wants to learn, practise and improve, come and experience CCA.
