Today’s children live in a hurry-up world of busy parents,school pressures,incessant lessons,television,malls and competitive sports. We usually don’t think of these influences as stressful for our kids but often they are. Being a fitness trainer for over two decades now I have found that yoga can help counter these pressures.When children learn techniques for self health,relaxation and inner fulfilment they can navigate life’s challenges with more ease.Thus yoga at an early age not only helps keep the young body strong and supple but also incorporates discipline that develop attention and concentration apart from encouraging self esteem and body awareness! So catch them young as the saying goes...make them do yoga and incorporate in them self confidence, self awareness and self control.
