🩰✨ State-level 2-Day Gaudiya Nritya Workshop at Gobardanga, West Bengal (27–28 Aug 2025), organized by Sanskar Bharati and supported by EZCC, hosted at Srijani Dance School Hall.

💠 49 students participated with great enthusiasm.
💠 I was assisted by Sayantika Majumdar & Jayanta Biswas, with the soulful vocal support of Pt. Amitava Mukherjee.

Grateful for the collective energy that made this workshop a memorable step towards preserving and sharing Gaudiya Nritya. 🙏🌸

A historic moment for Gaudiya Nritya—raised in Parliament for recognition as a classical dance form of India.

The Ministry of Culture clarified:
➡️ The Government of India does not confer “classical status” on any dance form.
➡️ Instead, Sangeet Natak Akademi (SNA), under the Ministry of Culture, documents and preserves India’s performing arts, including music, dance, drama, and folk & tribal traditions—with Gaudiya Nritya being acknowledged among them.

🌸 A step forward in the continuing dialogue for recognition and preservation of Gaudiya Nritya. 🙏
