Learn from the Master - Pt. Rupak Kulkarni

Rupak’s first music album was at the age of 18, aptly titled
TENDERLY, accompanied by Tabla maestro Pt. Anindo Chatterji.
Since then Rupak has released his albums through all top ranking
music companies like Times Music, HMV, Navras, Plus Music,
Rhythm House, Ninaad, ABCL’s Big B, Sense World (London),
WorldWideRecords etc.

As a child prodigy with music blown into his breath by his father
late Pt. Malhar Rao Kulkarni, Rupak has blossomed under the
finest tutelage of flute legend Padma Vibhushan Pt. HARIPRASAD
CHAURASIA to become an outstanding exponent of MAIHAR
GHARANA.

Where others have performed ragas, Rupak has recreated ragas.
Where others have played compositions through the flute, he
has written compositions through the flute. Where others have
reminded us of the sensuality of the Krishna’s instrument, he

Gino Banks is a versatile player, this trait leads him to performing and recording with artists and bands of all types of genres. He has also had the Honor and Privilege of playing a few tracks on the Miles From India Album produced by Bob Belden, nominated for a 2009 Grammy in the Contemporary Jazz Category with Times Square Records, NYC; a fusion of Great Indian Classical Musicians and Miles Davis Alumni Musicians.

Gino has been fooling around with the drums since he was 8 years old and took it up seriously at the age of 15. He is the son of Louiz Banks, India 's legendary jazz pianist and composer. He toured Australia and China with his fathers' indo-jazz fusion band SANGAM playing percussion when he was just 9 years old.

Kala is a sought after artist to work and experiment with orchestras like the London Symphony and London Philharmonic and world music legends like Ustad Zakir Hussain, Kai Eckhart, Edgar Meyer, Bela Fleck, Terry Bozzio, Abbos Kossimov, Ayrto Moriera, Giovanni Hidalgo and rock legend Ray Manzarek of the Doors to name a few.

Learn from the Master - Purbayan Chatterjee

Purbayan Chatterjee is known for his mastery in Sitar. He is a recipient of the President of India Award for being the Best Instrumentalist of the country at the age of 15. He has also received the Aditya Vikram Birla Award for excellence and contributions to the field. He has also been honoured with the Rasoi Award by Rotary International in 1995.
He is the mastermind behind Shastriya Syndicate, the one
of a kind Indian classical music band. With five friends, each an
exponent of a traditional instrument, he has tried to bridge the
gap between classic and continuous time.
