Many congratulations to our student, Saiaastha Singh on winning Team Gold in the Girls Under 8 Rapid event at the 27th Asian Youth Chess Championship 2025. It was held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 22nd to 29th November.

We wish Saiaastha and her family the very best for her future achievements.

7th Senior Citizen's Chess Tournament in memory of Late Benoy Bhusan Barua was inaugurated today by the eldest participant of the tournament Shri Nihar Ranjan Banerjee. Also present on the occasion were GM Dibyendu Barua, IA Debasish Barua and WIM Saheli Dhar Barua.

68 veteran players from more than 8 districts of West Bengal are participating in this annual event being organised by Dhanuka Dhunseri Dibyendu Barua Chess Academy.

The Century Ply presents 15th Chess for Youth concluded with a grand prize distribution ceremony celebrating the hard work, talent, and sportsmanship of all participants.
