🎉 400% annual fees for test cricketers🎉

BCCI has announced to empower the Indian test cricket to attract the cricketers to play test cricket.

★ Those cricketers who will play 75 +% test matches in a season will be entertained by ₹45 lakhs per match extra (including basic fees ₹15 lakhs per match).
It means if a cricketer plays 8 test matches when India plays 10 in a season, he will get basic annual fees of ₹15×8=120 lakhs and extra fees of ₹45×8=360 lakhs. So, in total he will get annual fees of ₹4.8 cr.
★ Those cricketers who will play 50-74% test matches in a season will be entertained by ₹30 lakhs per match extra (including basic fees of ₹15 lakhs per match).
It means if a cricketer plays 7 test matches when India plays 10 in a season, he will get basic annual fees of ₹15×7=105 lakhs and extra fees of ₹45×7=315 lakhs. So, in total he will get annual fees of ₹4.2 cr.
★ Those cricketers who will play less than 50% test matches in a season he will not be entertained with any extra fees. He will get only basic fees of ₹15 lakhs per match.
It means if a cricketer plays 4 test matches when India plays 10 in a season, he will get annual fees of ₹15×4=60 lakhs.

* I personally think that BCCI has taken a good decision because many players are paying more attention to the IPL rather than test cricket wherever test cricket is the best format that makes a player good.
