কলকাতা: ৪৯ তম রাজ্য শুটিং চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপে দুর্দান্ত সাফল্য পেল নর্থ ক্যালকাটা রাইফেল ক্লাব৷ ২২টি সোনা সহ ৪৭টি পদক জেতে এনসিআরসি৷ রাজ্য চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপে পদক জয়ী ১৮ জন শুটার জাতীয় স্তরে খেলার যোগ্যতা অর্জন করেন৷
জয়দীপ কর্মকার, কুহেলী গঙ্গোপাধ্যায়, মাম্পি দাস, শুভঙ্কর প্রামাণিকদের হাতেখড়ি যে ক্লাবে, সেই এনসিআরসি রাজ্য চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপে ৪৭টি পদক ঘরে তুলল৷ এর মধ্যে ব্যক্তিগত ইভেন্টে ১২টি সোনা, ১১টি রুপো এবং ৮টি ব্রোঞ্জ জেতে৷ আর দলগত বিভাগে ১০টি সোনা, ৩টি রুপো ও ৩টি ব্রোঞ্জ জেতে এনসিআরসি৷ ব্যক্তিগত ও দলগত বিভাগে সোনাজয়ী শুভঙ্কর রবিবার অবশ্য আন্তর্জাতিক স্তরে নিজের সেরা স্কোর করে দেশকে সোনা এনে দেন৷ আজারবাইজানের গাবালাতে আইএসএসএফ জুনিয়র বিশ্বকাপের প্রথম দিনেই তিনটি সোনা জেতে ভারত৷ প্রথম সোনাটি জেতেন এনসিআরসি ক্লাবের ছাত্র শুভঙ্কর৷ এর আগে ২০১৪-তে জার্মানি ও চেক প্রজাতন্ত্রে আন্তর্জাতিক স্তরে নেমেছিলেন শুভঙ্কর৷ রবিবার জুনিয়র বিশ্বকাপে সোনা জেতার রাজ্য চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপে জোড়া সোনা জেতেন তিনি৷ রাজ্য চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপে ৮৫ জন প্রতিযোগীর মধ্যে ৩৩জন পদক জেতেন৷ রবিবার ক্লাব প্রেসিডেন্টের উপস্থিতিতে পদকজয়ীদের অভিনন্দন জানানো হয়৷

This proposed Arms Rule 2015 by Ministry of Home Affairs is going to impact every shooters , shooting organizations, gun owners and general public , as they are coming with a more stricter draconian rule . They are even proposing to treat air rifles/Blank guns/Replicas as fi****ms and need license for it, which will surely impact a lot of aspiring and budding shooters. Also under the same proposed draft , pistol shooters who are using pistol with interchangeable barrel (.22LR and .32ACP) like Walther GSP or model of similar functionality will be faced trouble, as they will be considered illegal. However this is not implemented and MHA want to know our views and feedback withing 30 days of publishing this draft.
