The Demand

There is a huge requirement of manpower, skilled professionals in the Kolkata Job Market. However, statistics say that there is a GAP in the demand and supply of such manpower. Human Capital is definitely available but that’s mostly sans the requisite professional edge or the skillset. As an ideal example, today in Kolkata we have more than 15 big names in the ITeS industry with each having an average manpower count close to 2,500. The industry attrition % stands at 10%, creating a requirement of that many people. Put together in all these organizations employs close to 40,000 people and every month it create a requirement of atleast 3000 to 4000 trained manpower.
