Friday evening at the L-Terrace came alive with cheer, chatter, and a whole lot of lucky numbers as members gathered for an entertaining Tambola Night filled with fun and excitement.

Our ever-energetic host Shonada , assisted by Ashok Da,kept the momentum going with their trademark style, wit, and panache, turning every round into a lively celebration. From early calls to full houses, the thrill of the game had everyone on the edge of their seats.

Smiling winners walked away with attractive cash prizes and delightful gifts, while friends and families shared laughter, conversations, and memorable moments together. It was truly an evening that captured the spirit of togetherness and joy.

DKS Voices on the Cricket Stage !

It is a matter of immense pride for DKS that two of our distinguished club members, Saradindu Mukherjee and Gautam Bhattacharya are representing the Bengali-speaking audience as commentators for JioStar Sports during the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

Mr. Mukherjee, a former Indian cricketer, currently serves as a respected Bengali sports commentator, cricket head coach for Bengal Tigers in Celebrity Cricket League and an established sports writer and journalist .A talent spotter and coach for the entire age group from U 13-19.

His deep understanding of the game brings authenticity and expertise to every broadcast.

Mr. Bhattacharya is a celebrated author, eminent cricket commentator, host of acclaimed online shows, and an experienced anchor for both national and international sporting events. His voice and insights have long enriched the world of cricket journalism.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to both our esteemed members for their outstanding contributions and continued success in their roles as commentators and journalists at this prestigious global tournament.

And music filled every corner of the evening at DKS as Radio Returns, and Humtoo Friends and You came together to present a truly one-of-a-kind live stage experience on 14th February.

Designed as a fully functional radio station, the show featured RJ Roopsha as the charming station anchor at the helm, seamlessly blending live music, storytelling, with spontaneous audience interactions. The format was refreshingly different from the usual Valentine’s celebrations - immersive, nostalgic, and wonderfully engaging.

Members and guests enjoyed a gala evening, swaying to timeless melodies and classic tunes performed by the Humtoo Friends and You , as memories of yesteryears came alive through music and moments shared.

All in all, it was a beautiful celebration of Music, Memories & Love .Conceptualised and curated by OOPSroops & NHD.

PAES & PARTNERS: The Days of Triumphs by Rajat Subhra Chatterjee was launched at DKS on 10th February by none other than Indian tennis legend *Leander Paes* himself, making it a truly memorable evening for sports enthusiasts and young aspirants alike.

The book chronicles Paes’ extraordinary professional journey -highlighting his iconic doubles partnerships and remarkable triumphs with a rotating cast of partners across decades. More than just a sporting memoir, it reflects on teamwork, resilience, and the power of enduring partnerships both on and off the court.

The audience, which included young tennis trainees, coaching students, and parents, was captivated as Paes shared insights into the many partnerships that shaped his life with fellow players, parents, friends, colleagues, mentors and emphasized how these relationships played a crucial role in helping him fulfil his dreams.

Author Rajat Subhra Chatterjee and Leander Paes expressed their gratitude to Mr. Hironmoy Chatterjee* for hosting the book launch, for his encouragement through their journeys and for contributing the foreword to the book.

It was an enriching and inspiring evening filled with stories, reflections, and invaluable life lessons.
