St. Don Bosco's College Basketball Team

A big congratulation to St Don Bosco college's football team for winning their first group matchup in the inter school football tournament which is taking place in CB Singh Gaur memorial school. St. Don Bosco defeated Childrens academy by 6-1. We wish them all the best for the upcoming matches.

In a highly anticipated final match of the inter house basketball tournament 2017, St. Dominic house defeated St. Patrick house with the final score 11-08. It was truly a nail-biting battle between the two rival houses. Both the team were stuffed with talented players, but ultimately St. Dominic house outshone their opponents. Dominic boys maintained a constant lead of 2-3 points in the entire match. Utkarsh Awasthi lead the scoring chart of the champion house. Prakhar Verma and Kushagra Baranwal also displayed sweet shooting and added few points in the total. Utkarsh Srivastava and Akash Singh played a huge role in defense and gathered very strong rebounds. Aman Sharma, Abhinay Mishra and Tarun Verma provided a solid bench strength. St. Patrick house team played their heart out in the match. Pranav Mishra, Harsh*t Patel and Ayush Chaurasiya played a good hand at the offensive end, whereas Madhur Bansal and Ayush Singh were highly active in their defensive mode. The boys in the green made things very hard for their opponents but the clutch three pointer made by Utkarsh Awasthi in the final minutes of the game secured the victory for Dominic house. A lot of heated argument were witnessed in the match; thanks to Fr. Basant, Sir Sandeep and Vatsal Dwivedi who were the officials and assured the smooth-running of the match. Congratulations to both the houses.

St. Francis house thrashed St. Don Bosco house by 14-00 and secured third position in the inter house basketball tournament 2017. Aksh*t Yadav(Captain ) led his team in all trades and put up a stellar performance. Also, thanks to Rohit Rawat, Samarth Mehra, Himanshu Mishra, Rishabh Mahendra, Faiz and all the team members for providing crucial support. St. Don Bosco house's team members gave their level best; but they were unable to match the offensive abilities of their opponents.

Tommorow on 1/08/2016 st.don bosco college,lakhimpur is starting the house matches in various sports.......To mark the beginning of house matches we are first having our basketball house matches..... the first match of the day is between st. Francis house and st. Dominic house......the second match will be played between st. Patrick house and st. Don bosco house......the finals will be played on 02/08/2016......we wish all the teams...best of luck......

Today the world witnessed the greatest farewell game of all time.. The farewell game of one of the greatest shooting guard in basketball history..Kobe Bryant or better known as Black Mamba...Scoring 60 points( NBA 2015-16 Season high) at the age of 37 is unbeliveable..Thank you Kobe for these 20 wonderfull years.
