The Lucknow Amateur Aquatic Association successfully conducted 35th Senior Lucknow District Swimming Championship-2025 at K.D. Singh ‘Babu’ Swimming Pool, Lucknow on 17th May 2025.
The Chief Guest of the Opening Ceremony was Regional Sports Officer Shri Animesh Saxena.
Guest of Honour for the Closing Ceremony were Shri Kirti Prakash Mishra-International Diver, Shri Sandeep Mishra-Honorary Secretary U.P. Triathlon Association, Shri S.S. Dutta-President U.P. Triathlon Association, Shri Shivam Kapoor-Hony Secretary U.P. Swimming Association & Shri Punit Agarwal-Hony Secretary U.P. Tennis Association.
Around 80 swimmers from all Schools & Colleges of Lucknow participated in this Championship. Medalist of the championships were awarded with 102 Gold, Silver & Bronze Medals. The Merit Certificates were distributed to all place holders and participation certificates were given to all participants of this championship.
Individual Championship Trophy for WOMEN was won Srishti Tiwari of Red Rose Secondary School, Lucknow. She won 4 Gold medals with all 4 New Records of the meet.
Individual Championship Trophy for MEN was shared between Ayan Yadav of CMS Rajendra Nagar – 1 and Prince of Lucknow Public College with 4 Gold each.
It is highly appreciable that 20 New Records were established in this District Championship.

The Sports School Bangalore has launched this TALENT HUNT for all over India.

The selected swimmers may get scholarship (According to past & current performance) and chance to get trained under Program Director, Olympian Shri Gagan Ullalmath.
Total 53 Swimmers (Age Group – 10 to 14 Years) of Gorakhpur Region has participated in this Talent hunt Program. Trial has been conducted by Olympian Shri Gagan Ullalmath. Candidates will be selected on All India Ranking basis. Once the ranking will be finalized, Selected Candidates will be informed accordingly.
Honorary Secretary of District Aquatic Association Gorakhpur Shri Anjani Kumar Mishra has welcomed Olympian Shri Gagan Ullalmath and his team.
Sharad Mishra, Bhupendra Upadhyay, members of District Aquatic Association Gorakhpur played a crucial role to make this event successful.
